I seem to recall Harry Redknapp managing Bournemouth, the club that gave him his first chance in management when he was untried and untested. I believe that he moved onto bigger and better things, rather than repay their loyalty and faith.

Craig Davies has been playing as a striker all season but drifting wide at any given opportunity. Shez has complained no end about this but if I'm being honest, he doesn't look the same player now that he's disciplining himself to stay more central. At the end of the day the guy's out of form and would have been rested long ago if we had somebody better to replace him. Hopefully Shez will get the striker he wants and Davies can get back to his old self which, as we all know from his first dozen games for us, was quality.

Hmm...I was sure that I had read that the match was to be played on the 26th / 27th of February and thought that it seemed a long way away! I stand positively corrected!

Once you get over the fact we didn't get Manure, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea, this is actually a bloody good draw. There's a realistic possibility of making the 5th round and with it a 4 in 15 chance of getting one of the big 4 clubs. Add to that the £60k winner's prize and £40k gate receipts and it gets even better. We may have the best away form in the division and one of the worst home records but this match is 7 weeks away and I'm sure that things will have changed by then. Whether you think it's a good draw or not, it's a darned sight better than the one Huddersfield got!

How on earth can anyone say that this isn't a good move for him? Released by a Premiership club, courted by 2 average League One clubs and then takes a chance at a very big club who are clearly in the wrong division (just add the 15 points back!). Crowds of 25k and the wages to match. Good luck to him. I hate Leeds but to think that Donny could have nicked yet another player from under our noses would have been too much to bear. Plus, he can still go in Pinchito's.
