    You can’t slate the team, say you know what a good player is and moan about the budget then offer potential contracts to 4 players. Fans are pissed off as it is. The club are burning bridges and some will end up voting with their feet

    York have a more bloated squad than us. Recruited so poorly. 23 professionals even after their released players. Plenty of them were out on loan as well at places.

    Was speaking to a senior club official and said there’s no warmth to these players. He said I understand the players are aware but not addressed it. There will be different next season leaders characters. Basically not shithouses

    I totally understand the players reaction. If you are getting booed every week I wouldn’t celebrate with us. Hudson was a bit strange I just said let’s play with intensity and on the front foot. Halifax were 2 down. He told me to shut the fuck ip. Does not bother me. I think there needs to be a mentality change both fans and players

    My position on Mellon is I’m not bothered if he goes or not. I dont think the board are going to pay him off. However, he does look like a defeated man but doubt he will resign. We are in a similar position to this season, if Mellon starts the season bad the calls for him to go will grow stronger. He’s obviously going to recruit a type of player an older more experienced one. More leaders names mentioned. Paul Lewis Ash Palmer Jeff King Dan Pyke.

    Jack cook their centre back was in the fans bar after the game his Dad supports Oldham. Spoke to him he said we have no patterns of play. We are easy to defend against as you stop second balls we have no attack. Fondop hard to defend against as he’s unpredictable. Said our midfield was slow and they would easy pass around it.
