The thing I remember most about Morton was as I was about to go thro' the turnstyles this little jock said something like 'gi us a peg' or something similar & a guy behind explained that if you could pick him up & carry him thro' the turnstyles he could get in free ( one way of getting them young ) also having been reminded not included the great day out at Wemberly ( had some brill days out watching Latics ) but that's up there with best.

To Paul at AMO cheers mate I owe you one, also to all who replied to my laptop problem I think Paul has solved the problem ( I'll find out tomorrow) but thanks for taking the time in response to said problem.

At home I've got wireless network connection (Netgear) for my computer which my laptop has no problem in gaining access to. I've been working away recently & been able to access the internet on my laptop thro' the internet provider setup at the digs I have been staying at. Two weeks ago he changed his internet provider, now whenever I try to switch on the computer whilst at the digs the laptop will not load windows any solutions greatly received.

khlatics4ever here I'm showing my age here, the scoreboard when you arrived at the match had letters of the alphabet showing, then in the program you had a list of matches for that day with a letter of the alphabet against it , at half time as the scores were received by the scoreboard operator he removed the letter & replaced it with the half time score

It will be very interesting to know which way Councillor Bashworth conducts himself on this issue but on the occations I have been in discussions with him about the Boundary Park redevelopments he has implied negativity on a minority of issues, ie predominatly highway related topics & as such I think if your innuendoes are substantial then i think you should publish them or I think you should retract them with an appology. My favourite Latics defeat was in 1975 away to Aston Villa when we lost 5-0. Villa had in their ranks that day a young Brian Little,he finished up scoring a hat trick that day but every time he touched the ball he was awesome, it is without dought the finest individual performance I have personally witnessed live.We were absolutely leathered that day but the memory will last forever.
