I thought hines looks a cracking player. He was rooted for there goal, but then again, so was the rest of the defence. He's good at turning out of trouble, and is great at getting up for headers. looks like a quality signing imo

I'm not saying this is morally right but...... I don't think men and women will play football together, professionally, in the foreseable future. I dont harbour sexist views, however, I know that if say, sean gregan went through a female player, the outcome would be generally alot worse than if he chopped a man down. It doesnt work. The whole concept is crap. However, publicity should be 50x more regarding female football, as the matches are just as entertaining. I have football training with a former Doncaster Belle, and shes awesome, but noones heard of her. Start telivising female matches and gradually, people will start to see that the standard is quite alot higher than they thought.

I\m not against womens football, infact i think that it should get much more publicity. But this couldve dumped us straight in it. Fines, point deductions etc. couldve stopped any chance of promotion. on a side note, does latics still have a ladies team? if so, areey any good?

She was from brasil, and was going to fly over soon, but for Alan Hardy putting a stop to the scheme when he finally conceeded that "it might bring ridicule to the club and the league". Apparently it was going to involve channel 4. Theres a banner with a headline on the back page so i presume they consider it 'big news' what a load of balls.

Latics will play in a pink kit against leeds. they had to go to the football league to get permission. its in support of breast cancer awareness. I wasnt alowed to say till this morning coz they said they would kil me. the shirts will be auctioned off after the game. only 17 to be made. feels nice to get it out of my system.
