    there were 5 worse attendances for the games in our division yesterday , so somewhat average when you consider this fact. yeovil and crewe crowds well down.

    was this the one were he sent off pogs in the 89th minute for jostling with the forward on the goal-line as the corner was about to be taken. we had to bring on a new keeper to defend the corner thankfully they didnt score from it, the final whistle blew and 5000 people boed and whistled at him. my face was still purple when i got home.

    difficult to say without seeing the other teams play yet but i expect leeds and leicester to get the top 2 places, which leaves us with play-offs at best.

    police have arrested a 27 year old man after DNA was found on a pair of trackie bottoms found amongst sheep. two joggers phoned the police after a man was seen in suspicious circumstances. a spokesman said penetration of an animal carries a poss. 2 year sentence. perhaps they are looking for his wellies now. the incident wasnt in wales.

    what with the current downturn in the economy i think the start of the season could well stun most clubs outside the premier league with a distinct lack of bums on seats. of course the season ticket holders will turn up, but the floating voters will have lots of things they would rather spend the 20 quid on than watching the local club. also with the price of petrol there wont be so many away fans making those journeys.

    its very unfair, but they have an appeal coming up for deduction of those first 10 points. poor old ERIC MORECAMBE he is probably turning in his grave.
