From what i heard a couple of days ago there will be cuts (due to finances). Not just in the coaching staff but in all areas (it’s already started with a few members of staff gone from behind the scenes) I don’t know if it will affect who/how many staff the new manager can bring in.

My step dad (city fan) said to me over the weekend that a couple of his mates had told him Dickov was being lined up for the job, but he didn’t know where they'd got the info from, so i didn’t take it too seriously... Anyone know if he’s on holiday?

If it is Crossley or Gray then im delighted iv delayed the purchase of my season ticket... I wont be buying one if its either of them 2!

i'd have thought Gray had a pretty big part in bringing Brill, Colbeck, Parker, ect. to the club. Even the half decent ones like Abbott and Jacobson hardly set the world alight! If appointing Gray means he has more money to spend then no thanks!

i'd take Allott over Worthington any day! I think him and Stephens would have worked well together!

**This happened to me when i first started posting on the forum, this sorted it out for me... Yeah thats true, but we saw on the same website last year, Penney come from nowhere to favorite. A short time later he was appointed! It all depends on who's puttin the bet on, my guess is its someone 'in the know'

Didn't Penney's odds shorten quite rapidly on Victor Chandler? It will be interesting to keep a track of the market. I dont remember too many bookies taking bets on our new manager last year. As soon as anyone ''in the know'' sticks a few quid on, we'll probably know who our new manager is.
