  1. i think he's a good back-up player, but he must be on a decent wage. Yeovil offered him a fresh deal, which he turned down to come to us! if he is one of the bigger earners, it might be the reason why he has'nt moved on yet (no one will want to match his wages, and he wont want to take a pay-cut)

  2. was doing the rounds on a few other teams message boards earlier, crewe seem to be well happy with the buy...and a few other teams fans are coming up with quotes like...''how can crewe sign quality players like zola'' and ''for a proven target man, 200k is a bargain''

    are they real???

  3. I got the book as a 'get well soon' present whilst recently in hospital, I found it quite a good read although its probably stuff you will already know! The format is a picture of the player on one side of the page and a little write up on the other. The person that bought it me went and picked it up from the m.e.n building/shop in Manchester city centre (near deansgate i think) hope that helps

  4. As mentioned earlier, TTA stated with Taylor it would have to be a ''silly offer'' to be accepted (id imagine same for Eardley), how people believe that 250k is a silly offer, is just...silly! As coco said, 500k (+250k add-ons) for Trotman from only 20odd appearances has got to be the benchmark

So TTA sell for in the region of £500k for both Taylor and Eardley, I don’t see how this is a wise business move, helping the finances of the club, when TTA are just going to have to pump in at least that, for replacements that have promotion chasing/championship quality??

I'd love us to keep em both, but as TTA said, every player has a price!

  5. Anyone noticed he's equally as good with both feet? How many times do we see players getting into good positions but don’t shoot 'cos there on their wrong foot, I think this will prove valuable. I think he looks class from his goals on latics world; he scores tap-ins and 30yard screamers. Yes he's got a lot of stick from Rotherham fans, but don’t forget (as already mentioned) he was the only player to refuse to accept the wage deferral, so he instantly becomes the devil to their fans! You have to think, if he's really that bad, why would two clubs (maybe more?) that are at a higher level, take a serious interest in him? And do you think that shez, knowing that this may well be his last season in charge, would buy crap? Some fans need to take a reality check!

    Rant over!

Well done to everyone at the club for the positive transfer policy this summer!

  6. I’ll suggest one that’s controversial and not been mentioned....

Luke Beckett - Huddersfield and Bradford agreed a 5 figure fee for him a couple of weeks back, however after discussing terms Stuart McCall said he's agreed to sign for a team in a better position than them, when he returns from holiday (due back this week)

Probably nothing in it, but you never know!

  7. Well im going for Leon Clarke because... we were going to sign him in January, we(shez+tta) then found out that Leon needed a knee opp, and weren’t prepared to shell out the money for him, for him then to be out injured! Could possibly be Constantine

Midfielder, other than wallwork i can’t think of anyone, but we have been linked with him before, so i dunno
