Probably looking for another striker, any slim chance we had of extending Stones loan gone with him out for 3 months.

I heard the loan was a deal struck between Darren Royle and their Sporting Director Gregor Rioch who are apparently friends, much to the annoyance of Maloney.

Probably looking into a bit too much but Hogan going mad demanding all the players come over to celebrate then...

I manage 25 staff, most of whom were due to work yesterday.
I guarantee every one of them have said something similar to what Reid said, although posting it on social media was a bit silly.
The suspension seems a bit of an overreaction to me? Unless, as mentioned, it will be used to get a wage off the books!

Southend could only name one substitute yesterday.
Think they released a couple of players in the week too. Doesn't sound great?

Fuck me I must be wearing my rose tinteds cos I don't think its been anywhere near as bad as some of you lot are making out.

Like the look of this Stones already. Runs the channels well and looks strong. Linked up well with Norwood a couple of times too.

Not many seem bothered he's going even though they have about 3 players left
Same with Coote

Their Facebook fan page doesn't make out that he's very good or impressive, not one of them arsed that he wasn't offered a new deal and I can't find anyone saying they'd keep him when talking about their 'retained list' before it was announced.
Saying that, we all thought Ben Garrity was dog shit and he's done alright since moving on so let's hope Coote's their version of him!
-
First thought was how utterly underwhelming. A guy released from a LOI team who's had a couple of shit seasons by all accounts (after a good season in his first with them).
Then I remembered we're national league.
Merry Christmas Everyone.

Just checked the score, lol.
The club should fold and become a community complex really.
Seriously, what is the point if you can’t give Micklrover Rovers, or whatever they’re bloody called, a go.
Bring some money into the town and erase the curse of the club. We are perennial losers and will never achieve anything, ever, again.
You coming on here crying about the state of the changing rooms in the community complex wouldn't have the same ring to it though?

Rochdale in the process of being taken over.
The main guy behind it, one Nicholas Brayne (formerly Nick Conrad) was once a radio presenter who quit the airwaves to stand as a candidate for the Tory Party, but withdrew after a previous interview surfaced where he suggested women "should keep their knickers on" on a discussion about rape.

He also has links/connections with Guy Branston apparently.
Sounds like this has fallen through and their chairman has had to pump some emergency funds in to pay the wages.
They also had to pull out of the Lancashire challenge trophy (whatever the fuck that is) at 24 hours notice.
Sounds like a mess behind the scenes

Thought McGahey and Raglan bossed it at the back.
Shout out to Green, who gets a lot of stick but I thought he worked his bollocks off tonight.
Gardner looks reborn.
Norwood and Fondop absolutely immense.
Mickey Mellon got everything spot on and you can see the team are really buying in to it!
Great night all round!!
