I can't be the only one that thinks it's nowhere near as bad as is being made out on here... Am I going round the twist?

The way some were going on, the club would have been crucified if they let Unsworth bring in a new tea lady never mind a player.

Dean Bouzanis on loan to Sutton from Reading
Only 32? No idea why but I thought he'd be nearer 42!

Pett (if fit) should be a huge upgrade on Shelton and Sheron.

LJ getting a bit of stick in the paper this morning from Aidan McGeady who says he had poor standards and swept things under the carpet.
I was never his biggest fan, but it surprises me a bit, cos I thought he was supposed to be quite meticulous with his planning and PowerPoint's so why go to all that effort just to "let standards go and brush things under the carpet in training".

Come on Dave, I've put on OWTB that you deserve til October/November... at least give me something to justify that.
Otherwise it'll be a good day for the toldyouso lads FFS!

Dean Holden leaves the building at Charlton
I used to have a crush on his wife when I was a kid and she presented Citv so for that reason, bring him home!*
* I'm obviously joking, nice bloke but no thanks... Although if Danielle fancies replacing Franny Jeffers, I'm all for that!

David Brent? He's a fucking nut job.
Unsworth doesn't have a great reputation with a lot of our fans but that pales into insignificance compared to Hibs fans view on Johnson.

Not at all, just can't warm to him and feel he's underachieving.
Fair enough, and I don't disagree fully (he is probably slightly underachieving) but I do think some of the criticism against him is a tad harsh.
For me, Let's see where we're at towards the end of November!

A bit like Unsworth last season then?, anyone who judges any manager on their time here in the past decade is missing the point, plenty have gone on to bigger and better after working in almost impossible circumstances, I wish Frankie/Rhodesy would have another go, those two would be the dream ticket for me in these circumstances.
Based on what, other than them being ex-players?
Is this the issue with Unsworth, he's not an ex player?

Hogan/Raglan hasn't worked, Unsworth is stubborn enough to continue the partnership though even though we probably have three others capable of pushing them, Hobson has been another strange signing given he was arguably the best centre back in the League last season outside of Wrexham. We struggled like fuck with Hogan last season and only tightened up when Yarney and Sutton came in to the team after Christmas, both now deemed not good enough. We haven't looked close to keeping a clean sheet this season which is a huge worry given we set up so defensively with two holding midfielders.
With regards to Nuttall he's the only player creating anything, I can't think of anyone from midfield whose had a positive effect on our attack I honestly can't remember one chance that Sheron, Shelton, Dickinson, Tollitt or Willoughby have created yet Nuttall must have put close on 10 on a plate now, not half chances neither, his touch is better and he's probably benefitting from playing with someone like Norwoods ability.
4 games in.... And the first was a back 5 including Hobson.
He couldn't have played Sutton (this season's golden boy who gets better with every game he doesn't play) cos he's been suspended.
What guarantee is there that he changes it and it improves?
The only guarantee is that if he does change it and it doesn't work, he gets a load of shit for it from the boo brigade.

Fair comments from their gaffer, which also includes one of the most bizarre voice changes, 15 seconds in
Haha that's mad.
It's like he tried to let a sneaky one out, realised he'd shat himself and panicked the rest of the way through the interview!

Don't think Frank will be best pleased with the fine that'll be incoming. Especially if it's true that the ref didn't re-start the game at the end due to player safety concerns.

I'd be more worried if I were a Chesterfield fan after that, looked a long way from what a title favourite should look like.
Kind of agree, they didn't look anything special to me and any side who couldn't put us to the sword in that second half should be a bit worried.

First half thought we executed Unsworth's game plan well, could kind of see why he did what he did.
Second half, particularly after we conceded I thought we were awful, an absolute shambles with a special mention to Shelton who looked like a raffle winner.
We need 2 central midfielders, we might bring in one with already having Lundstram and Ward.
-
Think we're in a bit of trouble there if their keeper was flattened by the fans!
-
-
Pathetic.
We've been an absolute shambles second half
-
We're that Norwood chance away from executing the game plan perfectly (not necessarily saying I agree with that game plan like).
If we could swap Shelton and Sheron for Naylor and Oldaker we'd absolutely piss it.
I'd like to see Gardner in the second half (I'm I'm far from a big fan) but we're crying out for someone to just sit off the defence and pass to a tangerine shirt.
-
Ref absolutely hates us
-
What a chance that was
-
Was that our fans or theirs?
David Unsworth, your football is shit...
-
On paper it should be a 5-4 or 4-3.
So I'm going for a 0-1 latics!

I think we only lost out to Colclough because Chesterfield paid more. Not sure where this rumour came.
Norwood's had a drink driving ban
I think this was a pretty big reason why we got him, as he lives in Manchester and still on his ban as far as I'm aware.
He was relying on lifts from teammates to Barnsley.
