Chaplow is a local lad, he might fancy a move back to the north, he is not getting a game at WBA so could be intersted in regular football.
Loans can be re- arranged. I remember Chesterfield doing it with a foreign player, Novaks I think.
Richard Chaplow of WBA is the midfielder Latics need, doubt if they can afford his wages though.
I would bring in the speedy WBA left winger McDonad too, he wouldn't be too costly.
What amazes me that Tommy Wright, one of the best Iv'e seen at taking corner kicks is now the Latics coach.
They were hard, swerving and vicious.
So why can't he coach his technique to the players ?
Whats gone wrong with Davies ?
He has showed little passion in last couple of home games.
Pace and the closing down of defenders are what his game is all about and with these missing he doesn't look a threat.
The partnership with Hughes is not working as both need a big man alongside them.
How ironic Ricketts could have been that man.
If this was the case why didn't Eardley make ground deep into the opposition half instead of invariably hoofing it whenever he reached the half way line ?
I thought his distribution was woeful at times and he did nothing to justify a recall in place of Hazell.
If he goes in the January transfer window IMO Latics won't miss him.
For me Eardley did nothing to justify returning to the team in place of Hazell, and was responsible for most of the hoof ball.
Davies was wasted out wide and the enormous space between him and Hughes meant the Forest centre backs had an easy time.
They were there for the taking without the threat of Tyson, but I suppose Shez will settle for point against a top of the league team.
He did the Latics proud, won, and is in the final.
Well done young man.
PS
And no, I didn't get them all right myself, fluffed the score of the big Tranmere defeat .
