  1. I suggest you join the Latics scouting staff. Give them the name of young striker Paul Taylor of Vauxhall Motors ?..now he's going places.
  2. So why didnt Latics scouts pick him up then ?
  3. Chaplow is a local lad, he might fancy a move back to the north, he is not getting a game at WBA so could be intersted in regular football. Loans can be re- arranged. I remember Chesterfield doing it with a foreign player, Novaks I think.
  4. Richard Chaplow of WBA is the midfielder Latics need, doubt if they can afford his wages though. I would bring in the speedy WBA left winger McDonad too, he wouldn't be too costly.
  5. Baker is going for a big fee, I'm afraid Latics can't afford him.
  6. I feel the old cliché coming up " You're only as good as your last game".
  7. What amazes me that Tommy Wright, one of the best Iv'e seen at taking corner kicks is now the Latics coach. They were hard, swerving and vicious. So why can't he coach his technique to the players ?
  8. If so it's up to the manager to sort it out, it can't go on like that.
  9. No, its the managers job, but he somehow he fails to see what the fans see.
  10. Here he is, if WBA agree to Latics paying a split of his wages on loan. http://www.wba.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Profil...6~23702,00.html
  11. Exactly the same tactics as Luton employed, so teams know exactly how to play here.
  12. Ricketts showed far more passion than Davies, and I never thought I'd be saying that.
  13. Whats gone wrong with Davies ? He has showed little passion in last couple of home games. Pace and the closing down of defenders are what his game is all about and with these missing he doesn't look a threat. The partnership with Hughes is not working as both need a big man alongside them. How ironic Ricketts could have been that man.
  14. If this was the case why didn't Eardley make ground deep into the opposition half instead of invariably hoofing it whenever he reached the half way line ? I thought his distribution was woeful at times and he did nothing to justify a recall in place of Hazell. If he goes in the January transfer window IMO Latics won't miss him.
  15. For me Eardley did nothing to justify returning to the team in place of Hazell, and was responsible for most of the hoof ball. Davies was wasted out wide and the enormous space between him and Hughes meant the Forest centre backs had an easy time. They were there for the taking without the threat of Tyson, but I suppose Shez will settle for point against a top of the league team.
  16. Doesn't Failsworth still have a Manchester postcode Diego, if so maybe thats why he said he was from Manchester ?
  17. I hope Alan Hardy invites the lad and his family to the Forest game, it would be a fitting gesture.
  18. He did the Latics proud, won, and is in the final. Well done young man. PS And no, I didn't get them all right myself, fluffed the score of the big Tranmere defeat .
