This is just silly.
It is a very silly trip.He wanted to do the same last year but FB put a block on it.Now AL has taken full control he has arranged pre season without managerial input

Its hard enough for Premiership Clubs flying on privately chartered aircraft for pre season when they can work out timings. Getting players back pre season training and then getting them into a hotel at 3am a few days later is a shambles. You talk to any foitballer first week of training is full on. Basically we have lost the benefit of a full week of training.Team spirit may be great, but if we are knakered and unfit,Forest Green is going to be more embarrasing than last year by a long way.

The guys thinking Big, got us training like Brazilian's
This is en ego trip rather than a pre season training trip. See how the locals get a mention standing on the beach watching our superstars train, when there is no mention of the hundreds of true fans get a mention travelling to places like Exeter. AL and ML are just showing off their "trophy asset" of owning a club in England to their mates in their homeland Many of whom won't be able to distinguish between the paucity of a League 2 club compared to the Premiership.

I am a Cumbrian and have a perfectly balanced geographic perspective.I more often than not get taken for a North Easterner, although recently someone thought I was Scouser which is a bit of a worry

Another rubbish kid United have tried to dump on us.
Have we ever had a decent loanee from them?

Wow....is there no end to this fiasco!!
If & when a new manager/coach arrives he’ll have to have us top 7 or he’ll be gone for Christmas
The only end to this fiasco will be when AL and his cohort including Barry Owen leave. Lets hope they leave a club for us to support.

All a bit of a vicious downward spiral.Players won't sign without knowing who the manager is; managers not signing up because reducing time to establish a competitive squad;season tickets not being sold because no manager or credible squad;reduced income from season ticket sales less money in the kitty to fund squad and management team etc.etc......

Don’t think he made it past academy level by the sounds of it and I can’t find any trace of him on transfermarket or wiki
Probably just assumed if he was a bad boy he would have been at Latics at one time.

I found it mildly amusing when Pete Wild trotted out in one of his interviews that annual mantra "this year we need to get our business done early in the close season" Pete isn't even there.

AL is undoubtedly reaping the rewards following the invaluable expert advice given by the indispensable Barry Owen.
The running of this club is an absolute fucking joke and gets more bizarre by the week.
Get Alan Hardy back in to sort it all out, I wasn’t his biggest fan but something drastic needs to happen before our dwindling fan base decreases still further.
At this moment in time the club is a total embarrassment and in every sense a million miles away from where it once was...absolutely shameful
I thought Alan Hardy was mentoring AL that's been a huge success

It would be normal behaviour to send out a goodwill message for the future to a well regarded menber of staff in any walk of life. Instead we have silence. This regime has no class and prefers confrontation. Indeed they have BO to help with that style of confrontational behaviour as witnessed by his interview on Radio Manchester this week. Every time that guy opens his mouth in public his egocentric, self serving personality shines through Come on AL at least pretend to be on the same wavelength as the Fan and acknowledge Peter Clarke's contribution to the club over the last few years.
P.S. has no one had the balls to point out to him that we are Fans not Fan,presumably a sacking offence.

Good to have Bradford - they're the team at #7 in our most played list (since the 85/86 season). Anyone want to guess at the top 6?
Give you a clue - we'll play 3 next season, and we played 2 others this (but won't next).
Carlisle walsall and Swindon 2 others Bury and Tranmere ?
-
One of the symptoms of our demise is that I don't care if Tranmere have some success , good luck to them. Suppose I don't see them as rivals anymore.Who will we play next season who we can consider as rivals and look forward to a good old fashioned derby game with?

Im not sure if statutory accounts are the same as the abbreviated accounts that would usually be sent to companies house. I was under the impression that statutory accounts included full info. But I’m not an accountant.
Statutory Accounts are those filed at Companies House.Smaller companies which fall below certain size criteria have the option to file either Micro or Abbreviated Accounts which have a Balance Sheet only' supported by limited notes. They do not include a Profit & Loss Account.Basically not worth the paper they are written on.

Strange that we are sat here watching the much maligned Ollie Banks and Carl Winchester together with Joseph Mills in the play offs while our club rots.

At least Fans are running the operational side and should be better placed to service our demands e.g. a proper fans bar similar to those that we get invited into on our travels. Trying to buy the property is presumably the next stage

Im not expecting him to bankrupt himself but instil confidence back into the club and deliver a realistic budget or even use his ‘contacts’ to deliver additional investment.
Do we know what his worth is and what he’s invested thus far?
He has already proved himself to be morally bankrupt and that is difficult to change

I have no thoughts or expectation about our next managerial appointment,it is just a boring merry go round. My only thought is one of sympathy for whoever the Lemsagams appoint, except that is if it is ML

Garbage performance. Only Maouche showed anything and he couldnt be arsed at times. Missile went backwards again, Nepo Sidewards; God only knows what direction Lang was going but he should not have come out for the second half. The opposition just wait for him to overrun it. Zeus was very good.
Question for COG: "are you man or mouse"?
COG: "pass the cheese mate"
They were not interested throughout
I thought Maouche was garbage only plays at home or when we are on TV.

Bury was 5018 with 1262 away
Crewe (Scholes first Sat game) was 5288 with 509 away
Home crowd attendance (excluding away fans) today was 4845, marginally higher than Scholes first game
"Marginally" cheaper also
