It isn’t my attendance that matters it is how many turn up and pay on the day. I won’t spend a penny in the ground and haven’t renewed my season ticket. I think Abdallah has got the message but does he understand and will he respond. Nah!!!!
For those that attend, at least don't buy anything in the ground.I have adopted that policy all season.

Perhaps we will have Chuckle and Barry in the Directors box on Saturday, now that would make me chuckle.

Who was that group of fans and how did they end up with an audience?
Chuckle was the one who said that the instigator of the Corney meeting was a mate of Corney's.That was a lie.Now he is cosying up to AL,how bizarre.

Personal opinion is you will get one answer: "Do one".
I wouldnt be disclosing any of that private business information, and would be reluctant to any meeting set up by the Trust if I was the owner. If he agrees to any of this, he is basically opening himself up to allowing all financial matters to be scrutinised, assessed and determined by fans who have absolutely no idea how to run a business. Would you see United fans asking Glazers to show them an invoice for the electric bill? A waste of time in my opinion.
I for one do have an idea how to run a business.I am sure there are other Latics fans who also know how to run a business.I also know that the way that AL has run the business is an insult to the club, its heritage and future prospects. Things have to change.

And leave the creditors out of pocket. Morally dubious at best.
True, but the Adminstrators have to prove to the court that the body of creditors as a whole would be better off by going into Administration than continuing to trade.

The process is :deal agreed,go into Admin and then buy out of Admin as quick as you responded to me

Never forget that the primary responsibility of an administrator is to maximise the assets that can be recovered for creditors. It isn't to keep a business going at any cost and their first obligation on appointment would be to assess whether keeping the business limping along gives a more realistic chance of that happening than a swift bullet to the head would. For a business with virtually no saleable assets that decision could well be made pretty quickly.
Too many people always seem to assume that the club would emerge in reasonable shape from such a process. That very nearly wasn't the case last time and there are no guarantees available this time.
That is true but it maybe that a buyer would be in the wings to immediately buy the club debt free out of Administration.

Doubt he's saying you're plucking things from thin air. More likely that people who pass info on don't necessarily pass 100% of info on or may have a reason for twisting things slightly.
Doesn't mean AL isn't full of shit though!
Mike is likely to be only passing on part of what has gone on being very careful about what he says. He will have to pass stringent tests with his editor about how true the allegations are.Eventhough it is the Mail.

Ex players and staff. Folk seem to think that it is a requirement that they tell us all they know. We care, they might not care so much.
They have too much to lose financially at the moment.

Get the trust rep on board properly or forget it. In fact forget it anyway, the man is a bafoon of the highest order.
This a desperate last ditch attempt to get fans back onside and boost ST sales.
The man has bullshitted his way along since the day he took over and I don’t believe a word he says.
The ‘events’ of last week could and should have been avoided. It was a massive opportunity for this club to move forward and has been completely wasted.
I don’t believe the appointment of Scholes was ever a genuine attempt to improve our fortunes and IMO it was just a PR exercise and then for AL to then put the blame on Scholes for walking out.
Im convinced now that the guy has no money and that from the very beginning his involvement in this club was suspicious to say the least.
IMO....We have to get him out!!!
There isn't such a thing as a Non Executive Directorvin Company Law you are either a Director or not.

Whilst bigger news has been happening elsewhere at the cub, a new Commercial Manager has been appointed. Dillon Mistry, can't find anything definitively about him or his experience currently.
He will soon be sacked for low season ticket sales

From the perspective of potential buyers waiting for the club to go into Administration may be preferable. They will then be able to buy the club debt free. On the contrary it may lead to relegation. Its a balancing act and we may see potential purchasers sitting on the sidelines for a while to see how things work out.
-
Another of our less endearing attributes as a club is that we don't pass pitch inspections. They might as well call it off now.

Ps and yes alarm bells were ringing on several fronts. That doesn’t mean you publically turn on the owner.
I understand that, but clearly effective enquiries weren't being made on a confidential basis early enough.

The trust spent the first 11 months of the AL regime being of the opinion that he was well intended and giving him the benefit of doubt as he was new to the role and inherited many problems (which was true) which would hopefully be sorted in time. A close watching brief was being maintained.
.
the mood towards AL changed over Christmas as more info became available about what was going on and his openness with the trust started to change. Since then (that’s only 2.5 months ago) we have spent time trying to get him to come to the table to explain himself. A line of questioning had been agreed.
no response. We were preparing to ramp
things up then we got this week’s news. Its not a knee jerk, jump on the bandwagon reaction from the trust. It’s been building.
However we simply haven’t had enough knowledge to launch a campaign against him at any point over the last 12 months and the mood music around him has only properly changed over the last 10 weeks or so
That is all very well, but irs too late.Did relegation, the number of good honest staff leaving and what some of the players were saying not ring serious alarm bells? I know that some people have issuws with the likes of Anthony Gerrard and Craig Davies but shouldn't their concerns have been followed up? I raised issues on here last year but was told that it was not the Trust"s role to get involved in personnel issues.
Having said that we need to move on,unite as fans and if that is under the leadership of a Trust with a new focus and agwnda that is great.
-
Andy the Trust has known what has been going on behind the scenes for some months, why is it now jumping on the bandwagon that PS has triggered.

He needs to be very careful preferring one creditor against another. Unless he is paying personally for his bodyguards of course.

I suggest that those atrending tomorrow do not buy any additional services in addition to the match fee.No Golden Goal tickets,no programmes and no food or drink. I have been operating on this basis all season since I realised what was hoing on with this owner.Small gestures of protest but they all add up.

You are almost as irrelevant as the trust you're on, I can view any opinion I like.
The trust has said nothing while good staff and people have been treated like shite. I then read a comment about having a "foot in both camps". AL thinks less of you than we do. Put some real words and actions into helping and protecting the fans or pipe down.
Its time the trust and those associated cut all ties with AL and went public with the lot. Starve him of cash and he'll walk. He's no assets, remember, the trust sat back while Brassbank took all the clubs assets, still 3% eh.
But if you go public you might not have a foot in his camp....... I'm not sure you've even got fucking toe nail in his camp.
The Trust responded to my concerns many months ago about the way staff were treated by saying that they did not get involved in staff matters, this one seems to have wakened them up.Must be because PS is a celebrity
-
The Trust weren't represented as such. Jack Dearden presented it.Fans called in ,the views expressed were very similar to what has been said on here. We all seem pretty shocked and speaking with one voice which is comforting to hear.

Have the trust contacted Radio Manc Sport? The local TV stations?
Radio Manc changed their schedule and ran an hour long discussion on the resignation at 7pm

I wonder if ALs henchmen Barry Owen and Alan Hardy will continue to sit with him in the Directors' box or will they now vote with their feet.
