    Here is the Trust statement....

We are deeply concerned by the comments of Paul Scholes today and were not made aware of the conditions he was working under.‬

‪We will seek an urgent meeting with the owner of the club, and make a further statement when we can. ‬

‪It’s not easy, but please be patient.

You should have been more interested about the conditions that ALs previous managers and employees were working under. Why so surprised now when it is Paul Scholes

  2. We are .seeing the true effects of the fantasy football experiment.Relegation and now drifting in this awful division.Even in the darkest times of the last 20 years whoever we played  I believed there was potential to get a result.Don't even expect to get a result at home on Saturday. Just hope Scholes is allowed to build his own team and prove whether or not he can manage.

  3. Thought first hour against Stevenage wad good.Since then it has been dire. We have too many similar players in attack, but no striker for them to hit when they create space. Also no experienced enforcer in midfield. PS has shown himself less able than FB and PW to get results from this lot. Lets hope that he is allowed to sort out his squad in the Summer and is then capable of getting performances out of them in this truly dire league. So bad that Cambridge fans have been conditioned to the dross in League 2 that they thought this was an ok game with both teams happy with the result. Lets hope we don't come to accept that.

We are probably at our lowest point in our history with the worst squad we have ever had, that is not an over reaction its a fact..

Out of all those players i would only keep Edmundson, Nepo, Baxter, Missilou and attempt to buy Lang..other than those 5 everybody else can piss off..

We was well beaten by a team that has improved over the season and in all honesty should have been beating us at half time..This week and the three games we have had to endure have to be three of the worst ever played im succession, the new manager effect hasnt happened..why??? All the players were pulling the same way for Wild but dont look too arsed to be playing for Scholes apart from Baxter who has stepped up his game..

Our season is now over and we are in Feb, no more away games for me this season because ive seen too many shit not giving a fuck performances in the last few months..

Fulham feels like it was a few seasons ago right now..

Fulham makes it worse. They could be arsed then, but not arsed in Division 2 of EFL

I never had you down as a kneejerk merchant.

Unfortunately the kneejerk is that over the last 12 months this clown has presided over a club that has lost its' league 1 status and now laguishes mid table on the bottom rung of the EFL. His final throw of the dice is a PR evercise, Paul Scholes is the latest scapegoat in his experiment.Lets get real the buck stops at ALs door.

Scholes’ assistant is going to be Mick Priest..

Priest, from Oldham, was an academy coach at United during Scholes’s time at Old Trafford and has previously had a spell as first-team coach at Fulham. He was also assistant manager of Israeli side Maccabi Haifa and assistant coach at Norwegian outfit IK Start..

    from daily mail

He was also a youth team coach at Latics

His injury was nothing to do with home sickness, why would he have come back if that was the case. He was prob carrying an injury and needed time to recover, he looked absolute class to me. Can see him playing at the highest level including England, pace and amazing balance along with good finishing and determination to drop down to league two and play in a shit storm. A lot of pampered prem players wouldn’t do that!

I think he has class and could go to the top. Needs to bulk up a bit which he will as he gets older, lets hope he doesn't lose his pace in the process

Talking to a guy I know who is close friends with Bunn and Pete Wild today,  says the last straw for Bunn was when he walked into his office and AL and his bro where in there talking tactics and positioning on a board and telling FB the team selection and formation, according to the guy I know Bunn lost his rag and walked.

Also AL lost his rag with Simon Wood, smashed up the kitchen in the OEC and sacked him on the spot with the new media girl.

He says the same is happening to Wild and he has had enough.

The guy I know is out with FB this weekend, asked him to find out about Rhodes!!

Make of it what you will - I have no doubt what he is telling me is correct.

A very consistent picture is emerging of Al & ML its getting to the stage that we cant deny that large scale interference is taking place. This from an owner who in twelve months already has one relegation under his belt.

How many minutes has Vera had ? He will definitely not improve with fitness. Fuck giving the man a chance cos he’s an AL bumboy. I wonder how he’s managed to get any game time in Spain’s top division? Fucksakes...

That language is a bit strong although you are obviously very upset. Vera has played  about 100 minutes and in that time I too have seen nothing to suggest that he can add anythng to the squad. In summary,I agree with you ,but not the way you have phrased it.

Well Vera didn't start which suggests that was PWs call.

Also Sefil was swiftly moved to Ashton United.

I'd say though it's mystifying why he persists with Branger.

It was MLs call, you would hope that he would see that O'Grady was a better option than Vera. If he didn't then we are well and truly in big trouble going forward.

  11. This is the appointment that the club has needed for the last couple of years,at least to find out whether it will work. The speculation every 6 months about Scholes becoming Manager has become boring.

What will be interesting is how he will cope with reporting to our Sporting Director.

Perhaps there is a bigger picture and there is money behind Scholes to buy AL out, now that would be good.
