  1. Oldham 2-1 Coventry Derbyshire 4268
  2. Forget Magilton. He did nothing for Melbourne Victory, other than drag them down a little bit lower. "Left" before his time was up. If it is a choice between PD and Magilton, give me PD everytime. Not that I am happy with PD, but Magilton will be a backward step.

  9. I went on to the MK Dons site and I get the same problem, and still get no buttons. Time go go to bed I think.
  10. Thanks, but. Clicked all the invisible buttons, nothing. Usually a hand appears when over a button, but no hand.
  11. Logged out closed down the computer twice, no joy. I am using an Apple mac that I have been using for 3 year to listen to LP. Still No ply button.
  12. I don't even get the the match buttons to start the commentary, pissed off already
  13. MK Dons 2-1 Oldham Simpson 8000
  14. Harry Kewell has quit Melbourne Victory, citing personal reasons for leaving the Hyundai A-League club. It is understood Kewell was on the verge of signing a new two-year contract, in excess of $1 million a season, but made the stunning decision to reject Victory's offer for family reasons. Kewell's Mother-in-Law is ill, so he is going back to UK. The Australian A league is League one standard. I saw Kewell play the odd time. He was above the standard of the league (and better than Brett Emerton who also plays A-League). Doubt if he is PD’s type, or in the Latics pay bracket, but he will be another of the unemployed UK footballers looking for a job this coming season. A moneybags league 1 club might make a punt on him. I don’t think he could do a full English season without breaking down
  15. The final round of PD's mini league. At least we finished with a win. Latics position in the table below reflects the season as a whole. The top 3 averaged 2+ points per game for the last 20 games, not a bad effort, Latics managed just over 1 Round..20........Pts/GD Sheffield Wed... 43/18 Charlton...41/14 Notts County... 40/10 Sheffield Utd...37/16 MK Dons... 31/16 Stevenage...31/9 Huddersfield...31/5 Brentford... 30/10 Yeovil...30/-9 Chesterfield...28/-7 Carlisle...27/-3 Walsall... 261 Scunthorpe...25/0 Colchester...25/-1 Wycombe W..25/-8 Hartlepool...23/-1 Tranmere... 22/0 Oldham Athletic... 22/-11 Bournemouth...21/-2 Bury...19/-13 Preston NE...18/-10 Rochdale... 17/-12 Exeter...16-14 Leyton Orient...15/-21
  16. Well, only one more game to go, and boy am I glad of that. When I started this I was hoping to see the Latics where Yeovil are in the league below, but no. I should have known better, 6th from the bottom is typical. What a disappointment. Round 19 Pts/ GD Sheffield Wed 40/16 Charlton 38/13 Notts County 37/7 Sheffield Utd 36/16 MK Dons 31/17 Yeovil 30/-7 Stevenage 28/6 Huddersfield 28/3 Chesterfield 28/-6 Brentford 27/9 Carlisle 27/-2 Colchester 25/2 Wycombe W 25/-6 Scunthorpe 24/0 Hartlepool 23/0 Walsall 23/0 Tranmere 21/0 Bury 19/-10 Oldham Athletic 19/-12 Bournemouth 18/-3 Preston NE 18/-9 Rochdale 17/-11 Exeter 15/-14 Leyton Orient 12/-22
  17. The mini league after all clubs had played their 44th game. Round 18 Pts/GD Sheffield Wed 37/15 Charlton 37/13 Sheffield Utd 35/16 Notts County 34/6 MK Dons 28/16 Chesterfield 28/-5 Brentford 27/10 Stevenage 27/6 Huddersfield 27/3 Yeovil 27/-8 Wycombe W 25/-5 Carlisle 24/-5 Scunthorpe 23/0 Colchester 22/0 Walsall 22/0 Tranmere 21/2 Hartlepool 20/-1 Bury 18/-10 Oldham Athletic 18/-12 Bournemouth 17/-3 Preston NE 17/-9 Rochdale 17/-10 Exeter 15/-11 Leyton Orient 12/-21
  18. Sorry, I am a little late putting these out. Of the clubs in the lower half of the real league Yoevil, Wycombe & Chesterfield have done quite well in the last 17 games, but alas too late for Wycombe & Chesterfield I think. Round 16 Pts/GD Sheffield Wed 33/14 Notts County 33/8 Sheffield Utd 32/15 Charlton 31/11 Brentford 26/11 Yeovil 26/-2 MK Dons 24/12 Huddersfield 24/3 Carlisle 24/-3 Wycombe W 24/-4 Scunthorpe 23/4 Walsall 22/3 Chesterfield 22/-7 Stevenage 21/4 Colchester 20/0 Hartlepool 19/0 Tranmere 17/1 Bournemouth 16/-2 Oldham Athletic 16/-12 Rochdale 14/-10 Preston NE 13/-10 Exeter 12/-12 Bury 12/-13 Leyton Orient 11/-19 Round 17 Pts/GD Sheffield Utd 35/17 Sheffield Wed 34/14 Charlton 34/12 Notts County 34/8 MK Dons 27/15 Brentford 27/11 Yeovil 26/-8 Wycombe W 25/-4 Chesterfield 25/-6 Stevenage 24/5 Huddersfield 24/2 Carlisle 24/-4 Scunthorpe 23/1 Walsall 22/2 Colchester 21/0 Tranmere 20/2 Hartlepool 19/-1 Rochdale 17/-9 Oldham Athletic 17/-12 Bournemouth 16/-3 Preston NE 16/-9 Bury 15/-12 Exeter 12/-13 Leyton Orient 11/-21
  19. When I started this I was hoping that by the time we reached this round we would be mid table in the league, but high up in PD's league. Another bubble burst. The league below is after all teams had played their 41st game.
