    Their penalty was blatant, not sure how there were any arguments. Ours was very generous, he was just waiting to even it up in my opinion. The ball was hammered at the player from about a yard away, never a penalty

    I have to agree with this. I am not a Pennay fan, because I think he is generally very negative. However today we played well against a team top of the league. We at least deserved a point and were certainly the better side. If we play like that till the end of the season we will finish mid-table. Anybody giving Penney :censored: at the end of todays game are clearly thick!

    Cant expect Muslims to come to Latics. The only reason I go anymore is for a pint or 2 before the game. They wouldn't even have the pleasure of that, they'd be suicidal by the end of the game

    Grass being covered by snow is a lot different than being covered by plastic sheets. Go and put a plastic sheet on your back garden for 2 weeks and see what happens. Then run along

    Not really. Had we played today I expect we'd have lost. This postponement keeps Penney at the club longer than he should be

    God your a boring **** bb80. Putting the covers on too early kills the grass and can cause more problems than a frozen pitch

    I just cant see how he gave the pen without the red card. You can be given a yellow for adopting an aggressive attitude but raising your hands is a definite red. I think the fact he didn't send him off shows he wasn't confident in the decision.

    Our main problem is that we dont set out to win games. Today we played a lot better in the first half, but there was no real attempt in the second half to get at them especially after they scored. I have never seen such negative tactics on such a regular basis. Anyone else would almost certainly set us up to play more attaccking football
