    Bloomin' heck, have just got in - a lot has happened since I went out at 6. At that point we had an U21 Austrian international and there was another signing in the pipeline. Sounds like its been a pretty infuriating night!!! Do we think anything else is going to happen?

    I think he could be a decent signing - those goals are all good finishes, however they were all from crosses in - but then thats what we've said we needed, a target man in the box. Interesting to hear the commentator on those highlights, the analyst as opposed to the main commentator - he doesn't say his name once. "Oh and it was a great finish by him, the liverpool striker"!!!

    That's a poor joke... (see you've changed your avatar) I hope it's not a 'veteran', some experience yes, but not a footballer who's going to be retiring soon.

    Do we really want a 'lump' upfront.... won't that just encourage the team to hoof the ball. As was seen on Tuesday night, once Hughes went off we played very nicely with passing and through balls. Just a thought really...I suppose its good to have the target man option...

    I think Shez would be wary of signing someone who thought they were too good for us again (e.g. Ricketts...) I think considering the article (which I can't find at the moment) that spoke of Shez admiration for Jarrett for many years and that he was first impressed by him when they played against each other (!) that Shez knows Jarrett pretty well and has possible been wanting to sign him for a while but just waiting for the right opportunity. I reckon it'll be made permanent at some stage...
