I see there's talk of VAR being scrapped. Maybe some of these new-fangled technologies aren't as good as we're told.

But it could lead to a much needed overhaul as the result of Wolves submitting the resolution…. -
If we lose to Stockport then MM should walk

I think he made it pretty clear that he doesn't. I'm pretty clear that we don't want the CEO to do so.
I would want him to be the individual who signs off on any recruitment - by that I mean asking the manager to make the case for any signing, justifying why and ultimately being accountable before the deal is approved by the CEO or whoever.
Well that’s what I’d do anyway… -

Why would the EFL want to fund non-league academies? And if they did, then how far down the pyramid would they want to go?

Kind of glad they are in a weird way I want us both to be challenging at the top of the National league with both games being sell outs. I mean can you imagine a fixture in late April with us both sat 1st and 2nd the atmosphere would be electric.
As long as we’re well clear in first place I’m okay with that

Long (22:30) interview with DR - comes across well - the board is supportive but it’s down to the manager and staff to make the team successful - he and the board will continue to expand and improve the infrastructure etc

In Mickey ‘I know what good looks like’ Mellon we trust.
I hope that the players he does bring in live up to his mantra.
I also hope that he accepts that not all the players he wants will want to come to BP.
But most importantly, I hope that he gets on with coaching and motivating the players at his disposal to be a successful team.
No excuses next season please

if MM'S plan is to go gung-ho and simply outscore the opposition - which I somehow doubt.
‘somehow doubt’?

Club should be pushing them out but they are silent this year. If we can get 3k+ season tickets i still think its a decent number for this level
Constantly pushing the early bird date on social media - the only silence is regarding numbers sold. Obviously not as good as last year - but that is hardly surprising.
It will pick up but this season there will be far more 'pay on the day' customers who will wait and see and pick and choose.

Aah, transition. The fancy 2024 name for getting the ball back. Low block and second ball, there’s another two arty farty expressions that numpty fans quote.

Smash him, and Gerrrit forward quicker.

He was decent in the games I saw him play

I dunno if my memory's fading but i have absolute no recollection of Cameron Burgess.
I had £1 on him to be first goal scorer at Oxford Utd back in 2016 when he was on loan with us

Why are you suspicious of one of the players who actually runs, tackles and plays forward, as opposed to those who can’t be bothered?
Yes he is fragile and is he worth a new contract for that reason, but he is not one of the “I don’t care if I play” brigade.
I suppose the point is that he only puts in the fort when he is looking for a new contract maybe?

The only one I'd have from them is Emmanuel Dieseruvwe although he has a year left on his contract and probably has interest from L2 clubs. Had a great season in a pretty shit team.
We had him on loan for 4 games in 2020 - he’s only 29 and a big guy - not sure about his style of play but he has scored a few this season.

On the vitriol stakes currently we'll take some licking and that as to stop. Whether like you, fans don't believe Mellon can take us forward, or those like me who still think given his own hand he'll get us up there, we all need to come together next season. Otherwise the toxic atmosphere at BP will only hinder.
I agree that the vitriol has to end.
The club needs to come out and ask for this to stop and for all fans to get behind the team
I’d go further and state that fans who continue the ‘foul-mouthed’ invective are not welcome at the club.
Next season we all need to pull together.
