They have events... actual organisation has been fundamentally against OASIS policy since before I even joined. We'd never fit in.
And when they've posted their time for said event there's no message board on which 10 other people can propose a different location and/or time and thus cause utter confusion!
I'll bet they even turn up on time and see these "events" kick off. Pah!

I likey
How about a pint at The Bree Louise around midday and then a train when ready.
I agree re Euston Tap but it does serve nice beer

Early headrooms up. We are two short (preferably a keeper as he's out) for Wednesday.
Anyone fancy it?
Can't this week...

Am just about to purchase match tickets. What we saying about train times to Bletchley....?
Quickest route OUT is 36 mins....
OUT 11:13 ARR 11:39
OUT 12:13 ARR 12:39
BACK 17:46 ARR 18:27 [41 mins] - Bit tight this one, what with that long walk across ASDA's carpark!?!
alternatively there are trains at 18:27; 18:52; 19:27; 19:52 which are all 50 odd min journeys.
Meeting pub is the Enigma.
Given there aren't any decent pubs between the station and the ground, I think this game offers us the chance for a Christmas tipple in either The Euston Tap or Bree Louise. Any thoughts? Could get a slightly later train (even the 1313) and have a nicer pint first!

No they have a break til 22nd Dec- cant wait til Don's day- I guess it will be yours and many others 1st viewing of Magic Johnson and sure he wont disappoint!
Only if the basketball match is at half time. It's its before the game we risk breaking rule 2...

OASIS rules.
1. ALWAYS drink green lager on public transport to the game
2. Never watch kick-off
3. Never watch half-time whistle
4. Never watch the second half kick-off
5. ALWAYS stay till the full-time whistle
Our initiation clearly didn't work here. I'm so disappointed. I think we'll have to ensure the rules are chanted canonically all the way to Bletchley and back...

....don't think you'll need to buy a ticket in advance as their stadium is way too big for them.... however we did have an issue last year when the ticket office ran out of paper to print the ticket on.... we nearly missed KO as a result.
Kick offs are overrated. If they'd done something to mean you missed the final whistle, I would understand your concern...

I'm happy to get whichever train out and will come back when we've had enough. If I remember rightly, its quite cheap on the London Midland trains to Bletchley so no real reason to buy in advance...
Do we have to get match tickets? There's normally a little ticket office next to the away end.

Gillingham is the week after.....
Yep. Saving myself for this one

Not heard much from the other chap who came on board with an impressive CV.
Curiously, shortly after the appointment we put an article on the official site advertising for the job I commercial director again... Very odd

I think I'm out. I'm a bit scared to broach the subject if I'm honest.
I am shocked. SHOCKED

:censored:. The Baron's in. Might have to rethink, I was just up for a few hours of watching posh football with a few Malbecs. Now it's going off, mob-handed, pwopa nawty.
No need to worry about bother at Rochdale now... The Baron will be in Dulwich...

Hooker by all accounts ;-) better with a rugby ball.
3rd choice behind Hartley and Webber. We're in League One. We could have really expected to sign one of those two. Not a bad signing for this level...

Yes that is absolutely correct. Two ciders at half time, one during the second half, then the one and only time I've ever left a Latics match early.
May buy another chicken if we win this time
We left at 5-2 down when the then 'Muppet Choir' really turned on Shez if I remember...
Good day out still

I might try and swing this y'know. See how the other half live. Unsure if I have the constitution for blanched goose egg and saffron cous cous, though.
This appears to be warming up to be quite the occasion for the infidels...
I'd be up for it but I'm in the Lakes this weekend

I'm in for MK. The crapness of the town and limited range of pubs is never a barrier to getting smashed.
The family may or may not join depending on the weather. MK has some sentimental value (a true oxymoron...) as I met the Mrs at the tail end of a long and thirsty day that had featured the 6-2 drubbing
I think thats the day I have a memory of you eating a whole Asda rotisserie chicken during the walk across the car park back to the pub...
-
What a laughable article. I cannot believe a journalist like Mike Keegan would even entertain publishing that we are 9th in League One... Unbelievable.
-
The only ever time I've left a match before the end
Yup. That and the day John Sheridan received abuse beyond the pale at MK for me.
On the day in question we were in the pub by 4.30. A dreadful day cheered up only by the local copy of tractor weekly on promotion in the newsagents on the way back to the station

Then the hungover 5-0 at Hereford
One of the worst days to be a Latics fan. So much hope and optimism. We were third, they were second bottom, and we had beaten them 4-0 at home just 3 months earlier.
Instead we were 4-0 down before half time. We have fans fighting in the stand. We never really recovered after that game that year.

I'm not biting. Nob.
The way Talbot motivated Murray to provide his only truly outstanding performance at Swindon that season showed just how good a manager he could have been...
-
Talbot
Ah yes. The man who turned Paul Murray from an 'also ran' into a 'club legend'

With no Dave and Geoff, I guess Leeslover is in charge and Nervous_Tic and I will head wherever he decides.
Just make sure you take plenty of protection

Get the train!!!!
So The Bree Louise at midday for a couple, a reasonable train to Bletchley (1313?) then back to The Bree Louise after the game. Beginning to sound like a promising day out
