  1.

Before is fine. I just don't want no shenanigans when trying to enter some of London's finest night spots.

If we meet that lot at Euston at least one of them will lose themselves on the way onto the tube and get a taxi to the ground...

I vote for The Euston Tap at midday into Leyton for 1.30-2.

  2. Are you pretentious about Wine and about to get ass :censored:ed for what will no doubt be a lovely yet astonishingly expensive wedding?

Pretentious about wine I can take. I'm not arsed about that - me and Tulse Hill love a good tipple.

Reason for edit - my comback just wasn't all that funny...

  3. Hello, Alex here. I'll come up on one of those trains.

For the return, I need to get back to London for Sunday morning so am thinking of getting a taxi to Piccadilly for the last train. I reckon it's do-able leaving at 8.10, 15 mins, costs£18. Anyone else nees a quick getaway and want to share a taxi??

Sam - I'd say book the flight now. Match ticket will be available easily enough with game on ITV.

For clarity... this isn't me with a new pseudonym

  4. Whitehead and his brother are having it. Do it. Do it. Bring Raggy too. Do it.

He told me yesterday he's in. That in itself was a verbally binding contract. I then told his new lady so she's now expecting to see him that weekend so he's definitely in

  5. Ahh, tall mother:censored:er! I'm all over it.

I wonder who else I met....

Let me step in as I was considerably more sober than you...

We left Leyton (or Orient as it likes to be known) and there were still a fair few going in the Coach and Horses including Tulse, Baron, Help_Shiny. Maddog left a little before us but was on the same tube. We went towards Roxy. You got dinner in McDonalds. We then went to Roxy. You met a girl from Leeds. She was a nice girl but not all that attractive. We then went to Subway for food.

I then went home and can't tell you what happened from then on in. I just hope your Subway was as good as mine

  6. Just to say before anyone asks, unfortunately i'm out for this one. Just too much on in September/October and can't get a weekend pass*

*I reserve the right to change my mind last minute, however this is absolutely definite at the moment

I dont think I'm very happy about this...

  7. :censored:ing locals and their lack of plans! Bitch you pay for my £90 train and I'll stop planning!

Well you know youre coming and you know youre not going back on Saturday. That's enoughto plan your train tickets. The rest will be more spontaneous and more fun

  8. What. Is. Up. Bitches?

I'm down the day before the game for a piss up with work, so I'll be in the capital on the Saturday and figured I might as well complete the agony of a monster hangover by watching Latics fail to beat Orient again.

    So, who's in?

    ps. It's Saturday 17th September

    1. This is at least Orient part 4. Even you've been twice!!

    2. Stop planning. We'll all be there (well maybe Z wont). We should definitely get the train again though

  9. i am a latics fan now based in swindon just wondered how you join OASIS

    steve

You fill out a form, turn up on time and pay a £50 membership fee.

Then, at your first game, we find a local football pitch. You have to do ten lengths of the pitch sprinting, necking a pint and eating a McDonalds double cheeseburger at both ends. Finally, once all this is done, you have to buy our beer all day whilst being chained to Dave.

Alternatively, you can just show up late, get drunk on a train and bring a (not necessarily good) sense of humour

  10. Depends on your circumstances, dunnit. I was brought up with my dad telling me that Liverpool were our second team. I sometimes go and watch Palace because they're my local team. I have a lot of time for Brentford because my musical HERO supports them. I want AFC Wimbledon to do well.

You and the Bluetones. You'd rub yourself in oil and dance naked on stage with them if they asked

  11. hahah

Nope, can't justify it. Going out for a mate's birthday instead up here.

Whilst I'm here though - I'm probably up for Orient this year if you are J?

F*ckin hell. Lightweights Anonymous coming down for Orient Away. Jesus.

  12. I wouldn't know what to do if I won £130m. It's too much money really, isn't it? After I'd bought a fairly modest house, kitted it out and had a fortnight in the Maldives I'd still have £129m left.

Add to the fact that even if you put it in a normal savings account at a bank earning 3% (you'd obviously get way more than this) you would get £3.9m per year in interest.

You could buy Latics and run it much less frugally than now (we currently lose £500k per yr apparently) and not even touch your capital.

  13. He only wants us to beg for him, the scruffy :censored:. He should consider himself honoured by the invite.

We'll all feel better (looking) if he doesn't show anyway.

He'll just feel out of place cos there's no trams

  14. I'd buy a seat in the board for the full amount, then come on here and act like a ran the place, whilst spelling things wrong and generally looking like an arse. Maybe even a new tractor.

I reckon you should be able to get at least a 4% share for your £130 million though

  15. Manchester opens on Sunday's you bell.

I was hoping for something more specific in regards to something worth doing so I can include it in the pros and cons... cos right now the cons have it in a landslide.

    London Street Photography festival

    South Bank outdoor theatre festival

The forecast for London is sunny. The forecast for the cricket is a rained off draw or defeat.

The totty in Regent's Park is lovely

The plan for rain is to sit outside and drink in the park. I reckon 2.30/3 might be a bit later than we'll get there but best to have contingency. You know what we're like.

I've no idea about where. Will said something about Tennis Courts. Al said something about cricket. The only thing we need to remember is a bat and both will do

  16. Not when I can get to OT for three quid!

Work are :censored:s too, meaning I can no longer come down on the Friday like I'd hoped, so now I'm even less inclined to do it.

Someone has to sell it to me quick sharp or I'm telling Dave to buy me a ticket!

It'll be amazing. Sunny Regents Park (23 degrees forecast). Posh totty in one direction (in the park), London Pride in the other (for a day out with Scoltock if he turns up). What more could you want.

This followed by Haye v Klitschko in the evening...

    Boom boom

  17. Cruise was ace.

And it's all well and good coming along to see... but I can go Lanky with Raggy and spend £65 on my entire day out on Saturday or I can come down see you ugly bastards and spend that on the train alone... so I wanna know it's worth the round trip before I book my tickets.

My boss is also a useless :censored: at times and so I can't have Friday off anymore so I will have to come up on Saturday morning!

Up to you mate. I'm sure it'll be a good day out regardless. Also, beers and park is cheaper than sitting at cricket.
