I wouldn't dissmiss us hiring a first time manager again if they are the best candidate and the right fit.
I can't remember any experienced manager coming here and ever being seen as even remotely as a success. Anyone?
Jack Rowley first time round

Not a good idea. Will be less support and noise from RRE which has got very successful recently

It will be interesting to see how we go without Norwood Tuesday.
Don't get me wrong I'd rather have him with us than not, but having a different focal point and set up might be an improvement
Haven’t we started a few matches without him already?

What like Vaughan?
Nothing like Vaughan. Nothing.

He wasn’t good enough but we offered him a new contract . He turned it down. How is that treating him badly?

I genuinely believe he is purposefully trying to make the fans dislike of him greater than it already is, so that he can go crying to DR and Frank saying it is witch hunt and Oldham fans are unreasonable etc etc etc
“”Genuinely believe”
Really?

Latest I hear is he is to get to mid December before a decision is made.
View is as long as we are within a good run of the playoffs (like now) there is no need to panic. He's going to get time as long as he keeps us in the mix. If we are mid table in December and they HAVE to change manager the view is we can mount a run and get in the top 7.
Another ITK

Yard dog! The actual attendance on Saturday was less than 4500. The official figures you quoted include no-shows ie season cardholders and match day tickets.
Source?

Another example is we need a team kit to identify the club. On Saturday I saw blue, orange, green, red other other colours scattered around the ground.
One shirt for one club in a design that's ours alone and not changed every season please. We don't need second and third kits, we never did in the past. It's just greed following the EPL trend of soak the fans for every penny they can get and gullible supporters fall for it.
We always needed a second or change kit.

We did press. In midfield. And won the ball back every time. They had one break all half
I’m not sure why you are misinterpreting what I originally said but it’s too warm to get annoyed by it .

I get the heat bit but pressing for say the first 15/20 mins could well have brought a goal - and then it would have been the opportunity to be a little more conservative, whilst knowing that Dorking would open up more in chasing the game. It was a lack of bravery- caution is his default and his downfall.

It is time. I didn't have an issue with starting line up though today. Wouldn't have changed much if anything on that
What I didn’t understand was that last week, with a pretty much the same starting line up, we pressed from the outset. Harrying their defence from goal kicks etc Yesterday, when it was clear that Dorking’s keeper and defence weren’t comfortable on the ball, we stood off!
It’s this tactical inconsistency , errors in fact, that has helped push me to believing he has to go.

Did I hear it wrong on the video, didn't he back Unsworth to the hilt?
But that doesn’t have anything with him changing his mind ! For goodness’ sake ….

Frank has spoken, he won't want to lose face now.
How do you know? He’s a succesful businessman and will have made difficult decisions before. Losing crowds, losing income, losing matches will weigh heavily and changing his mind isn’t losing face, it’s brave leadership

I have changed my mind. It’s time for him to go.
He d done his best I’m sure but it’s not going to get any better is it? -

Striker's should never be defending corner's
Not their job and by doing it, there's no way of getting out
Forwards half way line or further dependant on the last defender and bloody stay there.
Give the other team something to think about instead of all this Alamo sitting deep bollox
Nonsense
Lee Hughes was always on near post defending corners.and further up the ladder Harry Kane was always back defending corners for Spurs
Tale a look at nearly every team and you’ll see the same.

Nope, you play a creative midfield and let him get on with what he does best.
But if there isn’t one …,,
You are convoluting actuality into theory.
I humbly suggest you wait until a “creative midfielder “ is in place and then review his positioning.- 1

Most of Norwood's career goals have been inside the penalty area, yet here we see him foraging near the halfway line, no wonder he looks a forlorn figure.
The two are not incompatible.
Score when he’s in the box, if the ball falls to him there. Doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be pressing further back when the game demands it.
It’s not binary- 1

@mcfluff1985 you are constantly attempting to engage in a battle of wits but you are obviously unarmed. You are just embarrassing yourself.
Is this really what OWTB has become?

Yeah, can’t see it being decent numbers. Feel good factor has already gone, not a great away day to begin with and late KO on TV will put a lot off.
We’ll find out of course but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s less than what we took to Borehamwood last week.I’d say it had the potential for a very good away day. Newcastle always good for pubs and food, easy Metro ride to the stadium , still be a new ground for some etc . I went in the FA Cup tie a few years ago (a Johnny Smith curler winning it) and although the ground is odd as it’s an athletics one, still one to be ticked off for lots.
I’d. Agree however in that it’s going to be nearer 400 than 700. On tv and train strike main reasons.

Home win or draw.
We don’t set up for 3 points away from home for some bizarre sadistic reason.
Can’t @oafcmetty tempt you to use your insight by joining the Prediction League?

A referee can change a decision if the ball hadn’t come back into play. He probably gave a free kick against Kitching because, as you say, he was guilty of dissent insofar he was moaning about something.
