I'm guessing that the closer the club can estimate the attendance in advance the more they are able to organise catering, stewarding etc. and avoid waste
There isn't an increase. There's a discount for buying early (as with the season tickets). But he knows that.

Mrs Magic and I are in. Apart from the blind loyalty, the early bird price is good value.

I always thought Ralph Coates would have looked more at home sat in a BBC sit-com with a pint in hand and a bag of crisps.
Or in an advert for Tudor crisps. I don't know if it was because I was younger, but footballers then looked older than those today. Bobby Charlton looked forty in his twenties.

The usual suspects on here will call Unsworth out whatever he does!
Royle had 5 or 6 lean years until we enjoyed success and our best ever period!
Alex Ferguson, arguably the greatest premiership manager ever was very nearly sacked at OT!
Let’s cut Unsworth some slack for goodness sake….we all want ‘instant’ success but it very rarely happens in reality!
Royle was doing it at Championship level. Not really a fair comparison.

The club badge before the 125 year one is our best and should be brought back (with a flat cap incorporated if possible).

Not pathetic but end of the day we luckily won the league. We never dominated that season as Burnley have this season for example.
Luckily

More appropriate user name though. Although in the films, Shrek is likeable.

Watching the Chesterfield Notts game….their first touch, control, passing, & play in general is so much better.
If that’s what’s required to get out of this league we are miles off!
I’m pretty sure we won’t be anywhere near that standard by this time next season. We will need every one of the 6 or 7 players rumoured to be coming in during the summer and they will have to be of the quality to go straight into the team!!
What a cheating cunt Dobra was. Twice went down holding his head when he hadn't been touched anywhere near it.

You said 'there is no such thing as natural talent' which is just nonsense.
And I've explained that I meant there's no such thing as success based on natural talent alone. Don't put yourself in the Eyres envelope with willful misunderstanding.

Seriously??
Read Bounce by Mathew Syed. It is a myth that anyone ever made it at anything based purely on talent. George Best practised harder than anyone. Even so called child prodigies like Mozart get their 10,000 hours in, they just do it early. It's not just volume of practice,it has to be quality, purposeful practice.
Not everyone can make it by doing lots of practice, but then I never said that.

But they've got the "mythical" talent as well!
Anyone can put the hours in. You need the talent to separate you from the rest.
Yes.

So everyone in the world is a potential Messi?
Right you are..
I didn't say that, as I'm sure you know. There is nobody playing at the top based on the mythical talent. They've all done their 10,000 hours and more.

Of course he's had coaching, but he's a born natural so that would be on tactical nous.
There is no such thing as natural talent. The players that appear to have it, will be the the ones who have practised the most.

Big relief that the main stand was closed today for Mr. Negative. Gateshead at home, and we set up like that, and play like that? I’ve seen a few say it’s only the FA Trophy, but I couldn’t care less honestly, i’m absolutely pissed off after watching that nonsense.
To be fair, we were away.

I know you said subjective and I agree he's done his virtue signalling. He isn't going to change anyone's mind about anything in politics by his antics but he thinks in his head he's shown what a good, righteous, morally correct person he is. No doubt he will get a nice warm glow from that - that's what virtue signallers thrive on.
Anyway I'm bored with this now - how do you think we'll get on tomorrow Matt?
I'm pleased to know that you believe it's virtuous to say that the Tories are cunts.

Mullen was just virtue signalling......
Virtue Signalling - the action or practice of publicly expressing opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or the moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue.
I'll take your word for it. I don't know him and can't attest to what his motives were. Any chance of a link as to where you found out about them?

They're winning the possession but we're having the best chances.
