The usual suspects on here will call Unsworth out whatever he does!

Royle had 5 or 6 lean years until we enjoyed success and our best ever period!

Alex Ferguson, arguably the greatest premiership manager ever was very nearly sacked at OT!

Let’s cut Unsworth some slack for goodness sake….we all want ‘instant’ success but it very rarely happens in reality!

Royle was doing it at Championship level. Not really a fair comparison.

Watching the Chesterfield Notts game….their first touch, control, passing, & play in general is so much better.

If that’s what’s required to get out of this league we are miles off!
I’m pretty sure we won’t be anywhere near that standard by this time next season.

We will need every one of the 6 or 7 players rumoured to be coming in during the summer and they will have to be of the quality to go straight into the team!!

What a cheating cunt Dobra was. Twice went down holding his head when he hadn't been touched anywhere near it.

    Seriously??😂

Read Bounce by Mathew Syed. It is a myth that anyone ever made it at anything based purely on talent. George Best practised harder than anyone. Even so called child prodigies like Mozart get their 10,000 hours in, they just do it early. It's not just volume of practice,it has to be quality, purposeful practice.

Not everyone can make it by doing lots of practice, but then I never said that.

Big relief that the main stand was closed today for Mr. Negative. Gateshead at home, and we set up like that, and play like that? I’ve seen a few say it’s only the FA Trophy, but I couldn’t care less honestly, i’m absolutely pissed off after watching that nonsense.

To be fair, we were away.

I know you said subjective and I agree he's done his virtue signalling. He isn't going to change anyone's mind about anything in politics by his antics but he thinks in his head he's shown what a good, righteous, morally correct person he is. No doubt he will get a nice warm glow from that - that's what virtue signallers thrive on.

Anyway I'm bored with this now - how do you think we'll get on tomorrow Matt?

I'm pleased to know that you believe it's virtuous to say that the Tories are cunts.

    Mullen was just virtue signalling......

Virtue Signalling - the action or practice of publicly expressing opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or the moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue.

I'll take your word for it. I don't know him and can't attest to what his motives were. Any chance of a link as to where you found out about them?
