  1. I'd be inclined to have a look at 6ft 6 Joel Coleman. Released by Rochdale, but not seen too much first team action since leaving us. Worth a punt, or does his lack of first team football scream that he might not even make the NL?
  2. By far the best keeper I've seen play for Oldham. Get well soon Andy.
  3. Preston? Lancashire? Preston was never a derby (Bolton, then City, now Rochdale...), and we've been in Greater Manchester for nearly 50 years (stands back and waits for the abuse from little Lancastrians who still live in pre-industrial times).
  4. Absolutely. We'll become a dying breed soon. Not many under the age 40 will remember the golden age. We should have an oral history project to capture the memories.
  5. Can only judge on what he did for us. I still think he was excellent.
  6. I'm sorry, i'm posting it again. This time, i've got the date correct...
  7. Yes, forgot about that. How could i? he was described as 'excellent.' Fair play to him.
  8. Coleman got a shout out as well on Quest, As did Missile.
  9. That stick is so low, it would take a team of prehistoric archaeologists to find it.
  10. Looked like a slip, following a poor touch. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/56270843
  11. Do we have any legends left? Paul Murray? Or does he mean leg end (three dots)?
  12. Former full-back Paul Shepherd sent down for arms and drugs offences. I can't for the life of me remember him, but, then again, he didn't actually kick a ball for us.
  13. Oh Danny Rowe. Nice goal (crap goalkeeping).
  14. Stretching this to managers. Poor Lee Johnson. Sunderland lost today and he's looking more and more like the fifth telly tubby. Not so much Tinky Winky as Twatty Fatty.
  15. Great range of well designed t-shirts. I really like them. If only i weren't in my 50s and three stone overweight...
  16. one hand or one/ perhaps two fingers, and that's a stretch. What a crock of shit. I've seen more quality at a car boot.
  17. I thoroughly enjoyed his spell with us. He was never a lone striker. He played better dropping back, pulling the strings and coming through on the blind side. He an pass, create and finish is stunning fashion, but he was never a lone striker. Poor Bradford management.
  18. I like that big lad in midfield. He played for Athletico and Chorlton.
  19. Big hole in the midfield and non existent defending. Some of them look like they're on the beach.
