Robbie Williams the ex Huddersefield midfielder has held talks with us over the last couple of days. He's also had offers from Swindon,Carlisle and Orient.

I'm happy with the first couple of home fixtures but the away ones are stinkers for me Tramps, Charlton,Peterborough,Brighton,Wednesday,Brentford and Southampton all in the first couple of months. It's a tough start but i'd rather have them early on and try and catch them cold than near the end of the season.

I think it's more down to the police than to do with the club regarding the Dale games. Soon as Rochdale got promoted there was no chance on earth the GMP were having Oldham v Rochdale or vice versa on a Saturday arvo or a bank holiday. There was chaos when we played them in the Carling cup a few seasons back and even trouble between the 2 sets of fans every other week through out the current season so there was zero chance of it being a weekend fixture. I would also expect Huddersfield away to be changed to a Tuesday night aswell as the Yorkie police wont want that on a Saturday arvo.

Fat Ronaldo was something else when he was a young un. It's a shame he got that bad knee injury when he was still a young kid or in my opinion he would of been the best football player to grace the game.
