  1. I thought i had seen him when I was in there selling programmes. wasnt entirely sure tho....cheers for confirming it.
  2. He signed a new contract with wolves the morning of the Stockport game, so Mick McCarthy must think something of him. Hopefully, we can get him till end of season, but it wont be more than that.
  3. the thing about taylor....his goal being 'fortunate' Its called gambling. Something that in my eyes probably wouldn't have happened last season. Same as with his first goal at Leeds. If your not in the position, obviously, your no going to score. Great goal in my opinion.
  4. IMO, next three home fixtures all have the potential to get us beyond 6000 easily. Huddersfield will obviously bring at least 1000 even though they are a bit :censored: at the moment. Along with our current form bringing a few others out of the woodwork with any luck. Hereford, you may say no chance, however.....I wudnt have thought many of their supporters will have been up this way before, so a ground to chalk off the list. Im not saying this will encourage them to bring 1000s, but every little helps. Then obviously Leicester would supposedly be the biggy. If our form stays the same as it is now, or there abouts, the next game where we may struggle for 6000 in my opinion will be scunny, and thats a tuesday night. But if we put on a good show in the other three games beforehand, you never no.....
  5. Where have you seen these highlights? I would like to see the 2 'Blatent' penalties you didnt get
  6. Doug Hodgson v Bristol City. Think about 1998. Live on sky. Fell to ground and then kicked their midfielder in the chin. Kung fu style. Right in front of the ref. That was a good one.
  7. The new song i heard at Orient on saturday was very catchy. 'He's ginger hair, but we dont care, chrissy, chrissy Taylor.'
  8. Scott McNiven's wonder strike against Millwall at BP in 97-98 season. Shame it was in his own net. The small-ish pitch invasion at Hull in the FA Cup few years back. Bootherry Park, or whatever that rubbish.hole was called. David Eyres goal from Half way line against BinDippers in LDV game. Being locked in at swansea after sending them down, Sam Parkin scored twice 2-1 win. Calvin Zola's MISS of the season at Hartlepool on his debut in a boring 0-0 draw. Ernie's WONDER STRIKE at Grimsby on boxing day in 3-3 draw. (Also the same day i went on the pitch at Half Time and MISSED A PEN, Stipey must remember, lol)
  9. Fair enough, he may not be as good as Wellens or Gary Mac, but I really wish people would get off his back. I heard a few moaning today when the teams were read out, now that, right at the start is out of order, not even been given chance to make a mistake, lol. I know for some reason, we always seem to have a scapegoat, but today, I think he played quite well. He did what was needed, doesnt do as much as Wellens, but what he needed to do, he did it well.
  10. My bro isnt on yet as far as i know. And YES, i do still programmes.
  11. Name: Mike McGrath Occupation: Student (soon to be photographer) Location: Middleton How long a supporter: First season ticket was 97-98. Never seen us play in any league other than this rubbish-hole. Favourite Game: York Away, 10th January 1998. Drew 0-0, Sean McCarthy had header dissallowed. Memorable because i was mascot that day a week brfore y 10th Birthday Favourite Moment: Too many to choose just one. Reading at home, 2-0 last game of season. First time i ever ran on pitch. York away, running out with the players was good. Man City at home in THAT game. Favourite Currents: Warney Finish: Champions Biggest Rival: I would say Bristol City. The only team i believe are capable of stopping us winning the league. Every other team looks average.
