  1. Need a manager that won't be afraid to give them a proper good bollocking when they aren't performing. Someone who can be a bit of a bastard with them and not be a mate to em. Think that was a big problem with PD, he was a bit too nice and it backfired
  2. Agreed. We all wanted him to succeed...maybe one of his problems was that he was too nice a bloke instead of being a horrible bastard at times lol
  3. Sounds like he has jumped before he was pushed! http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/20130203-dickovgone-636161.aspx
  4. What a load of bollocks this is if they get it all? Sunday was awesome! Brilliant, we actually have the chance to create a top atmosphere again and GMP are just going to spoil it! The players all going on about how the fans really helped them push that little bit more on Sunday, so lets give Everton a 3rd of the allocation and ruin our atmosphere before it even starts! Good One!
  5. I've only been attending since 1997-98 so I missed all the glory days. Think its got to be the best day we've had in the post premier league days! Still hasn't sunk in for me yet! Really think that it could be the catalyst for us to push on now and climb the table and away from trouble. Just hope some people from yesterday do start to come back more regularly. It may take us a few seasons of cup runs to get us the money to be able to build a club that can get out of this division the right way, yesterday has really made me believe again!
  6. There's no reason not to have exactly the same set up as yesterday. Bring on the Toffees
  7. Love that they claim we didn't play football....Second goal was the result of an excellent passing move, even though we were a tad lucky that Brad Jones is just :censored:e...and the third goal was a superb bit of skill and cross from Winchester. For more laughs, go and have a read at this tool on Twitter lmao https://twitter.com/LiverpoolUnion
  8. Barry Owen's would do if anyone has that? I've tried to send him a message on here but it won't send
  9. Anyone got it? If so can they send it me please? Cheers
  10. What I meant was, i'd hope that they could offer me an alternative given that I can't get there until Friday....not just suggest I just go down and get a ticket when I can't.
  11. I've just emailed the club asking whether they think there will be tickets still available on friday as that is the only time I will be able to get down there....the response "Just come down and purchase a ticket" Doesn't really answer my question!
  12. When playing against teams who get it down and play, we can compete and look half decent. When we come up against a team that can bully us we don't know how to handle it. We need to toughen up and respond by doing the same things that they do to us....So many times today there was snide heel clips, pulling shirts all over and just being a bit horrible. Latics NEVER seem to do that to other sides. As much as I hate it, we should be doing it too and showing people they can't just turn up, intimidate us and go home with an easy 3 points!
  13. Strike it lucky sellers don't receive anything. They are basically just volunteers now and have been for a good few years. Programme sellers do receive commission. Not sure about what Turnstile Ops get.
  14. If this situation actually does happen, id imagine a number of news articles on the official website a day or so after the game, saying we are looking for new car park attendants, strike it lucky sellers etc.
  15. Like i've previously said, I don't think that it is the location of the seat/standing area that is going to be the issue. It is going to be the principle of being made to pay up to see our club just because Liverpool are coming to town. I agree with the club trying to milk everything they can from the game, but I don't think shafting the staff is the way to go.
  16. Don't think its the cost that is going to cause the problem. I think it could all come down to the principle of it all. Not made to pay on regular games, but just because a big boy comes to town, oh wait, we are going to charge you to get in, even though your doing the same duties as normal but on a larger scale because it is going to be 3 times busier than normal! Sounds fair!
  17. Correct! I'd imagine the majority of the staff will have somewhere they would usually sit at the home games, but none of them will be allocated for every game.
  18. True, but very doubtful as that would mean the club arranging for said seats to be put in...which would just defeat the object of the staff paying in, in the first place! Although, wouldn't surprise me if they borrowed seats from a local school or somet lol
  19. How are the club actually going to enforce this? Are they going to find out exactly how many people work on turnstiles, strike it lucky, programmes etc and then reserve a block in the stadium for them? Or make them stand in the open areas at either end of the Main Stand Paddock? If they are made to stand, surely can't expect them to pay the 25 quid that others fans are paying to be seated. Could end up pissing a lot of people off this! Might as well go the whole hog and make the ball boys pay too!
  20. So, as a programme seller, you spend a large chunk of the first half not even watching the match because you have to continue to sell and then go and cash up afterwards....and having to fork out £25 when your going to miss a quarter of the game anyways? Typical Latics!
  21. Put up a temporary stand and shove the Liverpool fans in it....have ALL the RRE for the home fans, and get BP rocking
