According to the FA, 'Peter' and Jordan Lyden are on a 1 match ban but that was due to start last Tuesday. :dntknw:

Yes, the way that page works must be out-of-date, or just plain wrong, or they're technically suspended then subsequently "let off" because it's after the cut-off or whatever...

If you click "One caution away" and scroll down, it tells you different suspension criteria to the one  linked to, I think it's how it worked last season? Either way, that has the cut-off listed as November 30th, which has also passed!

And lastly, Missilou got his 5th league yellow against Lincoln, then was free to play the next game, because it was after the 19-game point.

The whole system needs clarification though, too much confusion among fans.

  2. Peter Clarke is not suspended on Saturday.

The cut-off point for 5 yellow cards was changed this season, it is now after 19 league games. (Source: http://www.thefa.com/-/media/files/thefaportal/governance-docs/player-essentials/2018-19/essential-information-for-players-2018-19---english.ashx)

Cup yellows also now only count towards the competition they are given in. We have a few players who if booked against Fulham, would miss a Round 4 game or replay.

Jack Williams the one who represented England?

Yes. Will become our youngest ever player if he gets on, aged 15 years, 6 months, 16 days! He couldn't travel with the rest of the team yesterday, he had to come down after he did his Maths Mock GCSE at school! :D

  4. It isn't true red cards don't get you suspended for the FA Cup. It's suspensions for yellows that are only handed out for the competition they're picked up in now. This has been brought in to stop players getting a fifth yellow on purpose so they miss a cup match instead of a league game.

Miller will be suspended until 3 first team games have passed. So he'll miss Maidstone, Rochdale (Can't play, but Checkatrade doesn't count as a first team game), Crewe, and Bury (Or Maidstone at home if there's a replay)

This is supposedly a one off due to a kit clash with Tranmere. Anyone know if they will be for sale?

Apparently not. I imagine if there's enough interest they'll release it as next season's away kit.

We'll have to wear it at Colchester too, possibly Bury.

    Excellent news

Maidstone are selling tickets from tomorrow so interesting to see how many we get and when....hopefully not season ticket holders only ....not sure how many we’ll take to this, Maidstone forum was speculating a few hundred at best! Maybe we’ll surpriise them

FA Cup rules state you have to offer a minimum of 15% of your capacity to the away fans, Gallagher Stadium holds 4200, so it will be at least 630.

Anyone know if highlights of today’s FA Cup games are shown on any channel?

Yes bud, 10.30am tomorrow on BT, or 5.30pm on BBC, when they'll have all Saturday and Sunday's action. They'll also show a few highlights from today on the Final Score Live thing they do on Sunday afternoon. ?

    15th November. On the official.

I thought all these FA Cup Youth games had to be played at the First Team's stadium, must have changed this season?

It's mandatory from Round 5 onwards, but teams can apply not to before that. Apparently Sunderland always play theirs away from Stadium Of Light.

I big part of the reason I've not been much in the pa=st couple of seasons has been because it's such a dour, unpleasant experience, although one of the few matches I got to last season was the 5-1 hammering of Northampton in the depths of winter.

Just seems wherever you sit, there's some cunt sat in earshot who does nothing but relentlessly bleat and moan about something. Whether they're right or wrong it doesn't matter. It's miserable to have to listen to it. Never thought it would grind me down as much as it does but it finally did do. When others mentioned this as the reason for not going I couldn't empathise with them. Long thought it was something you just had to put yourself through to make the few outstanding times when it all clicks worthwhile. Now it just isn't.

I'll drag myself off to a few no doubt. But I think following the years of Corney just ripping the heart out of the club followed by the incessant sniping and backbiting on social media it pretty much killing it stone dead for me.

    Regards,

    snowflake.

Fir when you do go, the second section of the Joe Royle stand from the Frizzell stand is generally free of those types. ?
