Every club kit is just based on a template. Same goes for PL sides. Northampton had the same away kit as Man City..

Sondico at least add a sprinkle of difference to their kits to make each their own thing. And they seem very open to input from the club with certain things, such as the cross marking and BAWA being on these new ones. Indeed in 15/16 and 16/17, Eden Creative designed our kits, and Sondico made them to order.

I really like our new ones, think they'll look smart in action.

Unfortunately as kits change every year, the best way to go is to have it be a similar design each time, as at least then you have some continuity.

Hope we stay with Sondico so we keep getting good, unique kits.

I can't get my head around any football fan being "gutted" when a goalkeeper coach leaves. Fingers crossed it works out for us...

Always a shame when someone who's been at a club so long leaves. Here's what one fan has said:

"This is great for Andy Rhodes (Good luck at Oldham in your new role Andy) but terrible news for SWFC

If you think about the personalities and motivators around the club that we have, Andy was definitely one of the biggest.

Not only did he do an incredible job bringing on our keepers as he did, but he's also one of the fellas always smiling, laughing, motivating."

Sounds like just the sort of personality we can do with having around. Can't imagine the dressing room was a great place to be in and about in those torrid last 12 games of the season just gone. Sounds like a top man-manager too, could provide an ear to some of the lads if they need it:

"All the keepers he's worked with think the world of him. You only have to listen to Chris Kirkland talking about how he was with him when he was suffering with his mental health while still with us."

Fingers crossed ay? FB and AR will certainly have plenty of goodwill as long as things are going alright..

  4. @underdog Just had an idea. Since the Trust has a good line of communication with Lemsagam, and as you were talking about engaging with the local community, how about we have someone local who has done something good as a guest of the club at some games? I just saw Cec Wright is still taking wickets and hitting match-winning sixes at age 85 (http://www.theoldhamtimes.co.uk/sport/16244736.cricket-legend-wright-hits-winning-six-at-85/) and I thought it would be terrific if we had him down at Boundary Park for a game next season. At other games it could be a young lad who has done something brave, or anyone who's made some sort of positive action. They could say a few words, thousands of people could applaud them, and it would put a smile on everyone's faces before kick off. Relegation has given our pride a bit of a knock, this could help restore it a little, strengthens our place as a community club. Call it something like Local Heroes.

If we lose, they'd have to beat us 17-0

Nah, "just" a 17 goal swing, so a 9-goal win. Think they'll go for it? Think we should set up to counter attack?

    Rochdale vs Charlton
    Northampton vs Latics

We need to match whatever result Dale get. One of those probably on TV.

either of the bottom 2 for me all day. how the fuck did we end up with that horrible yellow thing?!

    our fans cant be trusted!

    Eeeexactly!

There was a vote for our 07/08 away kit too, one of the choices was orange, so of course that one and became immortalised as the kit we beat Everton in.

The other choices were grey with navy, white with orange, and red.
