    With Bradford here then Sheff Wendy, followed by Southend and its big cash prize, WOW. I'd prefer to lose on saturday and have an area final , and a Liverpool trip to look forward too, meaning our season carries on into the new year. Cant wait pretty exciting times, and affordable ,well done Latics.... Get behind the boys and keep the faith!

    I sat in the main stand with my dad, I remember the Albion fans throwing pool balls at Chris Ogden and there being trouble after. Johnny Giles I think scored for them ?

    To me it looks like the 3 "amigos" have an opportunity to get their coin back and the club stays as it is, trying to get investment to redevelop BP.

    The Isle of Man defiantly for me beating City in the final too, we took about 300 fans city took around 2000 ,what a great atmosphere on the ferry everything .

    If you think about it , it's a good idea. If you have a massive away following apart from the support and noise at away grounds the club doesn't benefit as the entrance fee paid goes to the other team. I'd not be happy paying but it's a way of making a few quid.

    I ran on the pitch from the lookers after the second and the third, I pulled a sicky from work for the last two weeks of the season (to make it look better) because we had weekend work on and I would have had to work the Saturdays . My brother in law who died a few years later ran on with us and is the first to reach redfearn , top top memories. He is the uncle of David Mellor who is just breaking through now !!

    Ye that is David Mellor, think he plays left back too ! Ex Utd left due to injury !
