Not Valentine?

He did well at keeping it under wraps for less than 24 hours. Is Berger there?

Agreed. He'll probably tear it up for Chesterfield but if we have principles then we have to stick by them
I can't see principles having played a part if we've spoken to him.

I think we can kiss the Colclough deal goodbye, it seems like an age ago since we were 'informed' he had been signed. I'm not even fussed anymore with rumours and ITK proclamations and would rather wait until something concrete is issued in a club statement.
Bothered enough to comment that you're not arsed about rumours in a thread dedicated to rumours.

That article should should come with one of those really small 'this is a paid advertisement' disclaimer. Cringe.

He talks as though it was a blip and out of the ordinary. He should be worried. If not for his job, at least about how shit we are.

It's the player himself who is interested after speaking to my source.
He's based in Manchester.
Not questioning your scouting abilities... Just in this day and age, the cream usually rise to the top early doors.
I work with a couple of City scouts who are watching kids. It just seems like it's difficult for quality to go under the radar

It's funny how things can change, I've had a tip off about a free agent young centre/ wing back who my professional source reckons could be playing for his country in the World Cup next time round should they qualify for the finals same as this time.
So despite my being somewhat disillusioned I've passed on the info for the club to check out.
Hopefully, something will come of it.
This isn't to disparage BP, but if you've had a tip-off, how many clubs' radar will he already be on if he's that good?

You can always say "told you so" if any progress with other clubs.

No point being cryptic. The names I heard were:
- Cooper
- Stobbs
- Vaughan
- Luamba
- Windass
- Leutwiler
Might be wrong but seems legitimate...
I'd be slightly disappointed about Luamba. Not because I've seen much to suggest he'd be decent, just hoped he would. Would wish him well.
Vaughan... Still think he'll play league football. Hope he'd go out on loan and get game time.
The rest can get fucked.

Might be another familiar face soon too and I don't mean Connor Brown.
Go on then?

Expect him to start on Saturday
I'd be worried if he did... Not because I don't think he deserves a start but because I don't think Unsworth fancies him and it'd suggest he was out of ideas.

Initially I was desperate to keep the LaticsMind crown. As time has gone on, I'm hoping someone can knock me off my perch.
Nothing says "never kissed a girl" quite like being on top of that leaderboard...
Think O'Dea may have been your biggest challenger. His questions were rotten. I'd have equalled 7 had I had the questions a few weeks ago (when The Clayton Arms was one of the answers).
I'll settle for mid-table mediocrity. Probably a good metaphor for my life.

Not seen as much of him as others but, even from his cameo against Eastleigh alone, you can see he's the best technical footballer at the club.
He does look lightweight but he looks astute enough to avoid contact by making space. As others have said, he might not be the answer but I'm not sure what's been seen in training that hasn't given him the chance to prove it either way.

Podcast about 90s football. Worth a listen. Particularly their take on the Steve Bruce "novels".

Quickly Kevin podcast comes out on a Monday, too. Purposely work from home and avoid speaking to people.

6 games and no wins. It's not good.

Co-commentator is hilarious.
Sounds like we've had a lot of chances given how poor we are. It was funny to begin with. He's beginning to sound like a proper prick.

We could win this 6-0 and it'd still be a counter attack as a result of a Chester error.

Fondoop and Jimmy Rizzell.

lno you love a pub related anecdote that possibly only flirts with the truth, so did you know that late 80's early 90's when everyone was pilling and lovin each other? in stoke they were all still pilling, but instead of it making them focus on dancing and or loving it focused them into more intense fighting.
weird cunts.
Shit dids.

Always said he'd go on to play at a higher level and couldn't get a look in. Most naturally talented footballer at the club. It just feels like it was Unsworth’s ego that prevented any progress.
I know which of the two I'd still prefer to be at the club.
