  1. I tried to enter but said that password was needed - any ideas what that is
  2. Thnak you my friend, it riles me when i here "up the football ere we go" no sense - i eve emphasise it now like i a tit when i sing it
  3. I want to know the words to the "how many pints has Gregan had" one
  4. Don't know if anyone remembers but i was a young football geek and the season we went down from the premiership we played sheff utd 3 or 4 games before end of season.... I remember them singing "oh when the blades" to the same tune but slower and with different parts of the stand singin it at different times, sounded class. why has our version gone to belting it out dead quickly twice?
  5. Agreed - said on another post the other day we should go back to that - 2001-2002 - I though the shorts/socks were white i remember it looking more white than that, Wish they'd take that sponsor off aswell, ignoring it despite historical value - B*****d
  6. Agreed that some of the people who are moaning with season tickets next to the away fans are daft, It could have been said befor a ball was kicked what that section was going to be about.... and presumably some people got books there because of that, but now it appears only on their terms In regards to the other 2 comments Football is not like the rest of society... for 100 years it has been an escape from work, and the reality of life, it is a place where it is ok to swear and get heated - i do not behave in this manner the rest of the week And i never said that by spending £20 you can behave as you want, there are limits but people are being thrown out and punished for very little......Where else do you spend £20 and then get spoke to like a piece of s***....... Its the football for f*** sake
  7. It would ruin my enjoyment, I didn't go yesterday because i was away for the weekend but the stewards against Millwall were attrocious, if you pay £20 into a football match that should entitle you to be able to swear and stand up when necessary as long as you try and cause as little disruption to those not in the same mode - designated standing/singing section, problem solved The games are about more than just the football, they are about having a beer, laugh and the banter... The stewards at leeds(that i spoke to)were sound, they allowed us to move to the back so we could stand without causing an obstruction to people we were originall sat in front of and were obviously embaressed when the police came in and started to have a go at people for no raeson.... Every club in the country has a section at the back, in a corner that is filled with people standing and singing for 90 minutes, agreed that some of the songs are embaressing but every club in the country have a section of "chavs" as it's been put, fair play to them they are supporting the club - I dont want to stnad in the middle but have enjoyed standing at Rochdale and Leeds with little bother.... The club does need to create a section where its alright, I think it's a valid point that the way you are treated by stewads can affect your enjoyment
  8. retro style would be good, broad blue stripe with white on outside and half half sleeves, like the one form the 1910s/20s - made it on ISS and it looks superb - Thought about sending the designs to the club, then i got a grip - I'd buy one that was a bit different
  9. I know a fella that had a season ticket for 20 years that didn't renew because of the smoking ban at BP - this was before the official ban, this i know has put alot of people off, combined with 20 quid to get it just doesn't feel like going to the footy for alot of people, They need to offer designated smoking areas outside behind the stands - every time you have a tab you run the risk of being ejected which is a joke - not the main reason for poor attendances i know...but a factor
  10. Im a Bastard..... Big boys of league one boasting of what a fantastic season they'll have, de ja vu..... by January it will be we want Bates, Mcallister, the tea lady or anyone else they can blame for their posible mediocrity, Im meeting my Leeds mate before the game tomorrow and it will be £27 well spent if i walk out of Elland Road to a swamp of disgruntled dirty leeds fans.....Horrible COME ON OLDHAM
  11. There needs to be a area in every ground where it is exceptable to stand, shout and swear - football is the one place that you can get angry and sometimes be an idiot, as much as the game matters the whole experience that goes with that is as big as an attraction.....all they need to do is make an area of the RRE where it is ok to sing etc, if not the moaners are going to carry on moaning, the problem is easily resolved Well done with the flags as well by the way, they looked class
  12. z-cars at Everton in't rousing but it's traditional, i thinks it good - agreed should be alot louder though
  13. Their fans were animals - 50 year old men in shirts saying that they'll see you outside, seemed as though they revel in their reputation and even the scrawniest of little numptys think they're a real hardman The im forever blowing bubbles chant was embarassing, glad only a few joined in, it was cringeworthy Atmosphere was good, coppers and stewards were a disgarace towards tics fans, didn't want to get involved with Millwall lot but more than happy to answer questions and react in provocative way to any constructive critisicm on the fact that they needed to aspply the same rules to Millwal fans, one steward even give me the finger over the lip and talking hand, tit
  14. there was a danger that with him playing football it was jeopordising the integrity of his pantomine career - currently on trials for one of the sisters for cindarella
  15. He was scandanavian and blonde, not 100% it was him..... my hair looks alright though
  16. I was going top Latics when I was 5 years old with my old man who swore and behaved differently than he did the rest of the week, You realise at a very early age that this is socially acceptable and isn't through the course of the rest of the week - I am not in control of my language at the football so therefore cannot take any responsibility for anyone who may be offended at my lack of restraint...... apologies in advance
  17. How would i get that picture full size and clear... not the best with the pc, even though im sat in front of one in utter misery for 8 hours a day - cheers for the ideas
