Very kind gesture hallam. Very much appreciated. As a committee we realise how tight money is for some fans right now and not everyone either wants to or is able to part with their hard earned cash after buying shirts, tickets etc. but every contributor we get is hugely important.

No need to apologise unsworth. LJ probably did make a mistake last season with Eddie which he admits, but I understand the thinking behind why he did it. Towards the end of last season LJ attended a PS committee meeting and listened to our views and ideas very keenly. He himself, pays into the schema now and 1 fact that sticks out to him (and ne) is what we achieve with just 3% of our home crowd donating. You can see the potential for growth. This season, he has taken our opinions on board and rather than a 'project' he has brought somebody in of real quality who has the potential to be a fans favourite. Thank you to all contributors who have helped make this possible. For us to be able to contribute a 5 figure sum to a player of this quality is a big deal. LJ knows he made a mistake last season but let's get behind him and push them funds right back up. Thank you.

Not sure safe standing would add to tho capacity because there 's still seats in there.

It could be the case that we become an upper championship team but we'd need a lot of luck. Take blackpool for instance (currently not the best example but bare with me) did their ground up to make money 365 days a year. That improved the playing budget. They did this gradually as they could afford it and even suffered league 2 football. Got lucky with the right manager at the right time and made it to the prem. there crowds were no better than ours 10 years ago. Now our ground will hold 13500 ish when the new stand is up. I reckon u could add 1000 to the chaddy if designed properly so there's 14500. A new 2 tiered mainstand costing similar to what the north stand has cost would probably get 5-6000 in. Takes us up to 16500-17500ish? All pipe dream stuff at the minute though.
