  1. Private Eye I suppose, I've kicked all the papers in the bollocks - the Eye is all I read now. EDIT: Global Witness as well, it's a new find - the jury is still out. More global corruption, but it all roads run through Whitehall.
  2. Ah, so we will still enjoy similar tariffs that we're having now and not the 40, 50, 60 pc on milk and meat and so-on? Do we have to be labelled as an MFN?
  3. Which involves crippling tariffs on agricultural imports, I believe. Expect price hikes in your shopping basket.
  4. Hardly. It's not really an exclusive trait of the left.
  5. A valid point - however I see it as irrational, of course we have a connection with the atrocity, and we're trying to come to terms with it - some of us are even helping out; but to say that if it wasn't for the grace of god that at another point in time later it could have been so-and-so is overextending the link to beyond its range of elasticity. Peace and Love.
  6. I'm in town as well on Saturday, as it happens - and I was about an hour and a quarter away from Brussels last March. I'm seeing this all over Facebook, it's irrational considering on the evening it happened you were probably (I'm assuming you're in the OMBC area) 40 minutes away, which (if we're using time as a measure) is a lot closer than three days. **************************************************************** Great scenes in Albert Sq. last night, one thing about Manchester is it's defiance - it's ability to stick two fingers up to just about anyone who tries to damage the fabric of the city. This is the place.
  7. Yeah, that's the problem with Twitter.
  8. Labour don't hold the exclusive rights to that accolade. The country is broke anyway, why not show a bit of creativity.
  9. It's all about which pile of shit least smells the worst, it's hardly a choice.
  10. I've read that the cost is irrelevant, privatisation and nationalisation doesn't effect the deficit - money is either spent or received and assets are exchanged to the sum of that money.. The country doesn't get richer by selling of assets, the real question is will the public get a better service and better value. Which is a fair comment. I reckon the cost is irrelevant now anyways, you can slap some bullshit on the side of a fucking 747 and get away with all sorts. EDIT: I've done a quick search and looking at it I don't think local state-owned fuel providers would cost much, distribution already exists - it can all be done virtually from yer bedroom.
  11. What are these principles, specifically - what are OAFC's principles exactly? I'm sure the foundation on which the club is now built revolves around getting their hands on the money.
  12. Separate smartphones from that list, they are not an indicator of wealth or budgeting failure. Private internet access is essential to function these days, and has become a service similar to electricity and water. The point when a phone cannot be topped up with credit can be life changing for that person's (or familiy's) ability to respond to opportunities - it has a huge impact. I think it's absolutely one of the best things to be available for people to get help in their lives.
  13. They'll be selling Nuka Cola and Cram in the shop. Next years kit wlll be all blue with yellow trim.
  14. Boundary Park for the Frank Hannah Manchester Premier Cup, FC United vs Stalybridge Celtic. Shite match and the pitch was the worst I've seen in seasons - and I've seen a lot of non-league grounds.
  15. Spaceplan. If nothing else, get the soundtrack. Goodnight, sweet potato.
  16. Fucking state of this campaign flyer sent to me today... https://www.docdroid.net/6lkEaig/campaign-news-2.pdf.html
  17. There are two mouth-watering last day ties in the National North; Chorley vs Halifax and Salford vs Darligton with all teams within points of each other in the playoff race.
  18. Fallout 4, is my old faithful.
  19. Radcliffe Boro vs Brighouse (NPL1st £8) the other week was shite, Boro tried to play football whilst Brighouse hit on the break and made it stick up front, coming away comfortable winners 3-0. However Colne vs Droylsden (NPL1st £7) last Saturday was a really decent game even though it finished 0-0. Bloods look like they've massively underachieved this season outplaying Colne who secured a place in the playoffs with the point. Impressed with their set up too. Off to NWCPL championship winners Atherton on Saturday, at home to Runcorn Town. Or Linnets. One of the two.
  20. You said it twice in the same fucking post. Sakes. The relevance is that whatever you did then, you are doing again now. Unable to debate without maturity.
  21. As I've said and others too, this isn't a full time job - however the way some are behaving on here is making us more 'visible' recently. We act on spec, generally. No he's not. We have supported each other a great deal over the years, this thread is insignificant in comparison.
  22. Yet gobsmackingly unable to do so in your next couple of posts, it isn't that hard to just make a point. You've been here before, I remember somebody on here wanting to put some ventilation in your dental area. To all - now you can post all the shitballs you want, I really couldn't give a jizz - but be prepared to have your opinions (baloney or otherwise) scrutinised and called out. Schoolyard ballooning is fucking laughable, to be fair some of you might be 14, the others - well, you're acting like it.
