    Not gone to Latics at all for 7 years and returning simply due to the stand. I doubt there are many/any of those? But buying a season ticket for the first time in years simply due to the new stand.... quite a lot I'd imagine.

    What do we think the chances are of being able to obtain a back 4 or 5 row seat for someone that didnt have a Lookers season ticket? Slim to none?

    I'm exactly the same. Not had a season ticket for some years now, but I am in the market for buying 3 for the family this coming season. That will not happen should Holden get the job. Not becuase its Holden, but because the message it sends appointing him is a poor one. A poor appointment totally undermines any positive vibe the new stand would generate. A feel-good appointment amplifies it.

    I'd take Dowie in a heart beat. Enthusiasm and intelligence alone can take you a long way.

    Couple of bad manager appointments and it easily could be. At the start of each season our position remains precarious, people should realise this.

    Lets have a look at the stats. Played: 14 Win: 3 (21.43%) Draw: 4 (28.57%) Loss: 7 (50.00%) Shots on target: 40 or 2.86 per game. Goals: 12 (0.86 per game) Goals against: 22 (1.57 per game) 8 games v teams 10th or lower 6 games v teams 7th or higher (ALL at home) Stats sometimes mislead. These don't imo.

    Are you saying he is incapable of motivating a team when his job depends on it? If so... I agree. Get rid. I dont want him here even as a coach. There is a startling correlation with our down turn and his arrival.

    Millwall to go above them hopefuly So Rotherham, Wigan and Blackpool. That would be perfect. The we just need Preston to blow up and MK dons to take their place, Bury to sort themselves out and it will be happy days next season.

    Bit clueless. But when you have Murphy up front you are gonna struggle. We immediately improved when he went off. Chesterfield aren't anything special are they. We shall see them again next year.
