  1. Brown is a pseudo intellect. Can not stand the man. Please no. Its all about percentages with him.
  2. Get a temporary stand up! Squeeze another few thousand in. Guaranteed sell out, no problem whatsoever.
  3. Allen first.... thug managing thug teams. Clark, deluded pseudo intellectual (thick as pig-poo really) and flatters to deceive. 48 signings, all that time unbeaten, all that cash and can't even get out of league 1.
  4. .....and you seriously believe thats the reason? So they chose Chesterfield and 'Pool over County and 'Pool? how very naive of you. 2 per person!!
  5. Was just gong to say hope you have a Liverpool ticket??!! good man.
  6. 6200 tickets sold... 3600 less away fans turn up today... So at least half the people that bought a Liverpool ticket didn't turn up for a damp home league game. Yes I am bitter! I am there week in week out and didn't get a 'pool ticket. Max 2 per person in future please!!!!! Rant over. ahem... great win today... COYB!
  7. Or just buy a ticket for the same section (lower KG) for the standard price.
  8. I'm looking at centenary stand near as poss to Oldham fans. Lower tier. KG http://assets.liverpoolfc.tv/uploads/assets/anfield_stadium_plan_large.jpg
  9. Centenary stand is prob best bet. Ol postcode shouldn't matter. I'm on there for 2 tomorrow. Could be a few tics in with Liverpool fans.
  10. They are still available by telephone. I will be calling tomorrow morning to buy a couple.
  11. Well it just makes sense to limit ALL to 2 tickets, its the only fair and balanced way. BTW, Can someone confirm there is bugger all point in me driving to Latics now..... all gone/still huge queue?
  12. Not too happy, me and my daughter have been to all but two home games this season accompanied by around 3500 others. Looks like I will miss out now in an allocation of 6100. Can't really complain as I certainly wasn't going to be there at 4am to queue but why are people allowed to buy more than 2 tickets?
  13. skint? or brinkmanship? perhaps a bit of both?....you decide
  14. When is the desired opening? start of 2011/12 or 2012/13? We really neeed to get on with this...
  15. could be a very very poorly attended bore... I went to county v dale at wembley last yeasr.. I wont make the same mistake this year.
  16. Strange one for me.... we drop our top striker when we still have a reasonable chance of the play offs??? So this indicates the club have given up for this season then... just going through the motions... testing players and formations. It would certainly appear so. How would they feel if the fans reacted in the same way and just didnt bother turning up to any games? I dont get it and I am not happy.
  17. Manchester online http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/spo...yles_revolution Wardle set to join Royle's revolution Exclusive by Peter Spencer March 18, 2009 JOHN Wardle is ready to join Joe Royle's promotion charge at Oldham. The multi-millionaire ex-City chairman has already made contact and more formal talks are planned next week with a decision about his potential investment and involvement made before the end of the month. Wardle, who lives in Bury, is being wooed after the appointment of Big Joe to revive Latics' floundering push for Championship status through the League One play-offs. Royle told MEN Sport: "It would be great if John did get on board. We worked well together in our other life at City." Wardle, the founder of the JD Sports clothing empire, was in his role as majority shareholder the prime mover in Royle's appointment at City. His Heywood-based company was also the shirt sponsor during the Royle-inspired Latics success of the late 80s and early 90s - the most successful in the club's history. Wardle, who has rejected overtures from Preston since selling his shares to the Blues' previous owner, ex-Thai prime minister Dr Thaksin Shinawatra, said today: `'It was a fantastic appointment getting Joe back, totally inspired. He will need a big coat at Ice Station Zebra which he calls Boundary Park ... and knows where to come for one. Fortunes "As for me, getting involved again we will just have to wait and see. "If anyone can turn around Oldham's fortunes and get the club back to the good old days it is Joe. There is no one better at getting a promotion run on.'' Oldham's hierarchy, who axed John Sheridan 24 hours after the morale-sapping 6-2 defeat at MK Dons and immediately hired the man the fans call the Messiah, are rubbing their hands with glee that their coup could lead to a virtual doubling of the gate for Saturday's home game with Tranmere, with only 4,591 at the last home match against Colchester. The club has received hundreds of letters, e-mails and texts from fans, including one from down south who reckons he would have to hire a coach to accommodate the number of fellow Latics supporters who have asked him for a lift. Chief executive Alan Hardy said: "John Wardle, who is a good friend of the club, has great experience in football and good contacts throughout the game." Royle, meanwhile, was up early on his first day back over-seeing a practice match for his squad at the club's training ground in Hollinwood. He's already made a move to take Ipswich reserve keeper Shane Supple, 21, on loan and it is understood he's been busy ringing contacts in the Premier League looking to bolster his starting 11. Royle had a long first day back as he was last night at the Cheltenham-Tranmere game watching Saturday's opponents but also running the rule over Ian Westlake, the ex-Leeds and Ipswich midfielder. Apologies if already posted.
  18. Jim Gannon seems a good shout to me... what about Keith Hill? Or is that just a ridiculous and silly suggestion? He has certainly done very well at Dale.
  19. fat boys thunderbolt against man utd at old trafford.. like a missile past the danish thicko! I went mental... and then Dublin scored a way off side winner.
