    Good to see Hoggy in the wickets and runs, can't see us replacing Maharoof as he was on peanuts so needed Hogg to take his place. Looking good, bit like Latics I won't start getting excited until they've won it.

    I'd have said Feeney was the only one with anything like quality on the ball. Was nice to see a striker who can control a ball and hold it up. He didn't play really well he just wasn't :censored:e like the rest of them.

    Paul Murray gave more in that season and helped out financially. Barely got a mention when he last played against us.

    2-0-8 Hazell and Black at the back and 8 coloured giants up front. Two of them being Mike Wedderburn and Tony Morris. If he doesn't sort the lack of creativity out in his changes he will find management one step too far. Trying hard isn't enough.

    If Cooksey can become a legend by dying even though he was :censored:e then I think a local lad who plays his heart out for the club should be classed as one. On more than one occasion he could have joined big clubs and turned them down because he wanted to get Latics back in the championship.
