  1. £17 for Mac’s level is ridic in itself, although I did see the chairman’s notes on why they had to put the price at that amount. £17 would be appropriate for the level we are at.
  2. Early bird prices are good. £12.40 per game under the season ticket price. Still won’t be buying to watch an Unsy team. And £24 on the day, £20 in advance to watch nat league standard!!. Way way overpriced.
  3. Ajax style blue and white as it’s one of our original kits. White shorts blue socks. Club colours are blue red white. No tangerine for me
  4. good to see us moving people out. Don’t want to be harsh as he works really hard but he’s nowhere near good enough for even the Nat league.
  5. I’m sure I read prior to him coming that it’s common knowledge his mrs has a major say and he needs to be near liverpool. Can’t see this happening.
  6. Yeah agree, I recall him saying it doesn’t matter if we are at home or away. That is elite/big club mentality that you play same wherever as u boss games home and away. It’s odd then that his defensive tactics don’t link in with that thinking. He’s missing the lower league values of organisation, hard work, home crowd advantage that gives small teams little wins here and there. Without it u just rely on quality and when u aren’t a top team packed with the best players it doesn’t work
  7. totally agree. I don’t mind him being defensive and sitting back but when we break we have to commit people forward quickly. We don’t even do that. The current tactic isn’t going to get us out of the league, surely he can see that. Have to hope we see a change before end of season or u can’t imagine many signing up to watch that for another season
  8. I was there and Abraham should have won it but we should have been well beaten. Was it a tactical defensive masterclass when really it’s hard to argue that they should have won easily. Plus u can’t compare to soton or other teams, it’s the full 18 or 20 game spell with moments at home v pt teams where we don’t have shots on goal combined with everything else. So far no hope at all and I’m not sure he will keep us up. He’s going to have another chance sat by look of it to prove me wrong
  9. Picked up a few points yes, improved form well technically yeah but not in performances. Should have lost at home to county, that was a pure fluke draw from gifts of goals. And not sure discounting the fa trophy is fair, they were def playing to win with strong teams out and one was at home to a PT team and we didn’t have a shot on target. Then u combine rumoured walk out post game sat and u can’t say he doesn’t deserve firing right now. I’m still honestly can’t see him keeping us up and it won’t take a lot for us to do that.
  10. If you see something then no probs sticking. Cooper had track record and prob wasn’t delivering such poor performances where his teams literally don’t threaten the oppo. If he was unlucky, performances showing glimpses of something there would be a lot less discontent. Unfortunately there’s isn’t even a glimmer he’ll keep us up. Plus shez put a line in sand for points return with squad so there is a clear comparison for what is achievable which he isn’t even meeting. Add his conduct and style and it’s hard to suggest backing is the right option. Blind faith at the moment
  11. they took a risk. Looking at it, he was highly rated and his coaches come with decent record. It wasn’t too bad an idea to give him time. U have to be absolutely awful at managing to relegate us when we are backed. Unfortunately is panned out that he is tactically awful and likely our worst manager ever, certainly statistically. The board are a little unlucky but now look stupid they didn’t run a proper process
  12. You’re obviously a lot more lenient than I am. Does he deserve credit for finally moving away from his 5-4-1 after 16 games when it was blatantly clear it didn’t work months ago. And again does he deserve credit for setting them up in a basic 4-4-2 sitting narrow which tbf was not a tactical masterclass v country and very lucky to get a point out of. They’ve had one win v a pt team. I’ll hold judgement yet on if any credit is due on recent formation changes or team selection
  13. Pleased to see something come out as someone has realised it could get toxic. Feels more like a polished prem player interview. Just wish he’d accept a few mistakes, says he learnt and move on. secondly the rebuild. This is just a buzz word covering up for poor performances. What exactly is it that’s so hard or impacting the short term? I don’t get it. They needed manager and coaches which came with unsworth. They needed recruitment and physio. It’s place ad, interview, hire. Not that big a job plus they done it now. They new needed players on longer deals, that’s happened. Ground and training pitch is adequate, there is a functioning youth team. What is it that’s such a big rebuild job that impacts current first XI performance. For me not much. Many league one/two teams change manager at end of season and sign full squad on one year deals and do well, see Stevenage. We have signed plenty and seen literally zero improvement.
  14. he’s just not up to it and then someone put on here his u-23’s were close to relegation and had same performance / formation issues shows it’s unlikely to change. Worse case is they get a draw with a better performance in next two and we hold hoping again he has turned a corner. I think another hammering could be best result all round
  15. Yep the result against notts isn’t really the main thing. He does however need to start getting performances out. Any side can lose but they have to look competitive, run, tackle, create chances. None of which happen under DU. Can accept a loss next up but they should run notts close or if they set up defensively they can’t be letting more than 1 in a half
  16. i think the rebuild was always required. The head of recruitment is there prob overseeing things so don’t think it’s a case of backing unsworth rather they know they need to rebuild. Hopefully the expectations on DU remains and if he can’t get the results they get someone who can
  17. Not sure royle or the club can go for anyone who hasn’t got a track record of managing again or their abilities will be called further into question. We need someone who has a half decent record managing a few teams at this level or lg 2.
  18. U don’t scout managers By any chance do u? I think that’s what the club needs sending through to them at the moment
  19. I don’t mind that. Like back end of last year shows a lot of passion around the club and team. People rightly pissed off with where we are
  20. Not sure u would saying that if u had paid 12 mill and been told playoffs are a possibility this year
  21. I’m sure you get a decent amount for players at World Cup. 9k/wk I think
  22. exactly. Are they that shit for this league?? Angol part of a promotion team at this level twice. Hogan Stockport cpt who won league and Maynard 30 games last year for Solihull who finished 2nd. Rooney twice player of year at this level. Threlkeld has actually played in championship and has solid career much higher. Are they really that bad. They don’t seem to be for other teams/managers
  23. Totally agree. He’s not our man. Not even close to getting best out of this lot. Time to go.
  24. Both goals are right at the keeper. Is it me or anyone else feel he should save those
  25. he’s not playing people in their positions. Toilet isn’t a centre mid. Plus Clarke is no wing back. We are bad enough when they play to position never mind to new ones.
