  1. Midfield partnership of Wallace and Palmer is easily the best we've had since we came down in 01, Robinson's always excelled in League 1 and Cassidy was a very shrewd loan acquisition. However he and Palmer are due back in January unless we extend the deals. If we can't, then they'd be huge losses especially Palmer whose composure makes him a very good midfield general. We've had two of our first XI suffer worrying injuries this week, which is something our small squad needs to avoid to stay in the mix. So basically some shrewd signings, team spirit and two or three players with goals in them. I see the same in your squad with Derbyshire definitely capable of 15-20 and Wesolowski being a good centre-mid with higher level experience.
  2. It certainly has had nothing to do with the way we've been playing, that's for sure. We actually played against a hoofball team yesterday armed with a kung-fu clogger or two but the team that played the right way won the day. There was no gloating or bertie big bollocks involved in my post. I want you up there to add some spice. This fixture had gone :censored:e since the phys got his hands on our team.
  3. Sheffield United are the massive favourites to win the division still, no question about it, so any points they drop is a huge bonus for any team with designs on escaping it.
  4. Cheers for the favour! Hurry up and get involved in the mix. It's more fun when you are. Since Jose joined you things seem to have turned around a lot, not surprised as when he was here he looked a class above.
  5. He was a technically good footballer for us. It was easy to tell he was better than his teammates by his vision and awareness. Think Ronnie hasn't bothered to have a look at him though, as he wants a big frontman although Baxter's best mate is playing for us. If you're not making chances in the games then he'd be a good cure for the problem on his displays here last season.
  6. You weren't a bad side TBH, just didn't have the cutting edge in front of goal. Draw was fairer. BTW surely you know who Ian Muir is, you can't be stupid enough to confuse him with Moore Jr...or can you?
  7. How depressing have both our clubs become since the days of Ronnie vs Shez? No one can be arsed here, we're thankful we've got a TV game as our 'football genius' sets us up for a 0-0 most games. See your hierarchy have lost interest just as our clown boardroom has. Two once proud clubs....
  8. You were well-drilled and did enough. Solid defence and reasonable midfield- we played like a bunch of non-league scrappers trying to compete with a well-prepared League One side. If Feeney and Eaves stay fit, you have a good outfit there. Mid table to top half I'd say. As for us, well our chairman needs to put his finger out and stop making mahooooosive cuts to our budget- all bar five or six of our squad today are not League One standard. At least ITM said farewell on a high eh
  9. If due to the rivalry you're saying this fair enough, but in the reverse situation, I wouldn't want a local game to leave League 1 SOUTH.
  10. The way me and several other fans feel at the moment is probably identical to how you felt when Chris Moore the scumbag ripped the heart out of your club and left you getting the buckets out every week. Numb.
  11. I'd echo what 24424 said really. I enjoy the rivalry the two clubs have developed mainly since Ronnie came here. Whether it would be the same if he left is another matter though....
  12. Didn't know you all cared so much. It's a privilege that all your efforts this season are now resting on hoping we fail. In reverse, none of us could care less.
  13. Hughes would not have been hit with bottles because none of our fans hate him. We might give him the taunts, but there's no particular hatred. Whereas you have this bitterness because a player decided to scarper and sign for someone else. Happens in football but you're all crybabies about it. I would have done the same as him, and seeing on the highlights some of your ugly species' faces of venom as he celebrated was quite satisfying!
  14. And you lot obviously don't go round shouting the odds either, just like you went top with a flukey winner two seasons ago and boasted of yourselves and the Lashers leaving us to rot. Swings and roundabouts!
  15. Sure, just like you enjoyed yours in September the way you celebrated that win like a bunch of smalltimers!
  16. He's either amazingly effective or embarrasingly bad. The sort of player whose inconsistency makes him a League One player and no higher. As for the only team, ask Leicester and Huddersfield fans, however there's probably a few fans who would say he's even worse than that playboy lifestyle lad (Chris Hall?)
  17. Tranmere is a little suburb village with factories, so even that statement is in the clouds
  18. 11 long years we've waited to win at your gaff, we owed you that for those late dickings at the death. Still don't reckon either of us will be top 6 at the season's end, but oh this one is a sweet bit of revenge! Big Joe. what's the score?
  19. It's always a lively week leading up to this one ;) Tuesday night's games will have a big effect I think, especially if you are four points behind us on Sat. Though we never beat the garbage teams like Chelt'nam away. Let's see if your pampered prima donnas like Gregan listen to Royle...sounds like Sheridan's reign was like a holiday camp.
