Shame the FCA/ club stuff could'nt be sorted out in time to offer finances/staggered payments
The think tank I volunteer with, did approach Oldham Credit Union to see if a partnership/arrange finances could be sorted somehow.
However, they never came back to us.
Shame as it would have meant re-investment back locally too, if it could have been done.
Or Even start thinking it now for next season, like a savings club
oh well

its for everyone and anywhere in the world can play it.
OASF need some development on its website but you can link/post the results direct to website as well as the email thst is sent to those who have signed up or previously were players

Forgive me if I'm taking things too literally or not quite understanding what's being alluded to here but just in case there's a genuine concern about the information provided, here's some details on what is published and where.
I don't include the draw numbers when I tweet details out and looking back at historical Facebook messages on this thread, they have never been shown on this platform either. Lottery players receive an email which includes the draw numbers. As long as players maintain their current email address on their account, they will receive the email each week. I don't see any purpose in publishing winning numbers to those people who don't play. It's not a secret but I just try to give relevant data to the right people and help to avoid 'data overload'!
We never publish details of the winners of the main draw. It's a sizeable sum of money and they should remain anonymous. If they wish to announce it themselves, that would be their personal choice. We do publish some details for the lucky dip winner as it is a small win.
I really appreciate your feedback and I'm more than happy to answer questions. I'm not a big Facebook user but will login more often to make sure I can respond to any questions or concerns.
Thank you!
my fault....i saw the lotto balls in the previous posting/tweets and thought they had the numbers in/on them.
they are actually sent in the email notification via clubforce
thanks

I think you have done pretty well to get seven candidates in the elections ; I wish we'd managed that many. They will certainly be kept busy, by the sounds of it.
3 were co-opted already. Dom, Paul and Darren
2 were part of Stadium Parc 32 think tank which are Mick and Maurice.
I don't recognise the other 2.
Be intersting to read their statements.

Unsure if this has been posted.
OACT are doing a food donation drive at tomorrow's match.
Bring an item if you can. I have suggested in future a loose change/bucket as I think fans are more likely to chuck some pennies in rather than bring a can...well unless it's it's can of beer

We have a Truimph tiger in tangerine and having being on the back of that beast on the motorways of Britain, so that is some ride and especially in our wonderful climate too
top effort

I wonder if he will continue with his role as business ambassador at the council that he started with Arooj Shah
Did I read/hear that he is planning another Atlantic row next year, if not two as well?
Looks like he might be a hands off kind of guy that empowers his board and trusts their decisions

Nice to hear you all talking football and looking forward to something.
A couple of things :
1) on a "renewed focus for OASF" ; we have faced this challenge at our Trust and it isn't easy. A surprising number of our fans seem to think that as we now have a largely progressive owner that the governance issues no longer matter and the Trust therefore shouldn't invest time and effort on it. It's a remarkable attitude, given the amount of change that looks as though it is just around the corner, but some people do think like that and I daresay you will be no different. So watch out for a line of thinking that goes along the lines of "stop criticising and get behind the club" (even if they are not doing so well).
^^^ this in buckets. OASF has to be helped to be made stronger.
We learned a harsh lesson from the last exiting owner. Lip service from the very beginning about working with OASF from day one. Would attend all our meetings...leaving the club for the fans blah, blah blah..
Granted, it took him a good 5 months to successfully remove the other exiting owner who was still influencing stuff ( yikes just remembered Corney is a shareholder still)
And then buggered off the the Russian world Cup and then took another 12 months on top of that to form his first board.
Lessons learned and build from it

The SLO role at Oldham is just the club ticking the box as mandated by first UEFA and then subsequently the FA.
Adam Street is the ticket office manager. He's not going to be an impartial liaison over anything to do with ticketing issues.
The disability liaison officer is the safeguarding & supporter services manager, Pamela Makin, again she is not going to be an impartial liaison over a lot of issues connected to disability.
In fairness to Abdallah, under Corney, the SLO was Jenny Warburton, the club's lead commercial person. She wasn't impartial either.
The guidance over the SLO is for them NOT to be a club employee, because that person can't be impartial, but under successive owners that guidance has been ignored.
If the FA / EFL / National League cared about the SLO role at clubs they'd mandate that guidance to force the club (and we won't be the only club using a club employee as the SLO) to use someone who isn't a club employee. But if they did that the club would probably appoint someone like Michael Halliwell or Stephen Partington to the post ignoring any other vastly more independent and more qualified candidates.
I know Mark was a volunteer SLO. He was also an OASF director too.
Had to retire from both due to ill health. He would always brief OASF board on national SLO stuff and incidents like at Tranmere etc.

Sure Morallee and Lemsagam held an online meeting with a Trust director and the PTB after the initial protests in September time...
You could be right. I don't recall it but it should/would have been in the meeting notes.
And if it was it can't have been that productive.
I have just re-read it. MOU is a minimum of 3 from each party. Parties being OAFC and OASF

Really wonder why people don't just check the "contact us" section of the website under "club"
Like when everyone was asking who the safety officer was
https://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/club/contact-us/
SLO is Adam Street, he's just shit at it
