I still think a gym would be a good idea would make a healthy profit like most other gyms. plus were is the nearest hotel around there. i cant think of one.

What i dont get is that once watersheddings closed and oldham bears basically went out of business we took roughyeds in as a favour. keep rugby in the town. we get so much grief of the supporters ohhh latics this latics that makes me wonder why we dont give them a tom tom and send them back to ashton gate.

The TTA are not stupid they knew what they were doing since the off. bought the area wich the ground is on lest say its worth 50 mill with houses built on etc. there going to pay 20 mill to build our new stadium plus however much BAE want for the grounds say 5 mill. theyll still walk out with a huge wedge in there back pockets. maybe its just me but thats the way i see it. unless they are building the houses and flats and we OAFC get the rents i dont know but i still think theyll get a lot of money out of this deal.

Hes nothing like abbott. abbott will hold the balls up and attempt to flick it on, hughes is a poacher he likes to run onto balls and when he does get the balls he likes to run at defenders. that being said id have him back theyd make the perfect partnership in league 1 yeah there not verry quick but togeather i would think wed have at least 30+ goals next season. but i certainly wouldnt break the bank for him. and why try getting rid of kieran lee he looked good for us last season even though he didnt play too many games, i thought this would be his season, wouldnt supprise me tho as we have a good packed midfield this season. as for wolfy i like his effort he puts in but hes not big or strong enough therefore id get rid.

How about if oldham athletic shared a ground for a while with another close team for a year or two. flatten boundary park then build a new ground with all the gubbins all the facilities etc. we already own the land. and theres more than enough room for a decent sized stadium. saves moving out of oldham (wich i really dont want to do) just needs a bit of funding to build. never really liked the idea of building houses around the current boundary park as theres no room for expansion (i know with our support at the min theres no way we need to expand past the 16k seater that was planned but you never know what will happen in the future). just a thought .

I wouldnt mind him being put back to right midfield then bring back Jonesy on a long term loan n bang him left mid. we would probably have the 2 most dangerous wingers in our division then.

Worthington is more of a holding midfield player by the sounds of it with purdie being an all rounder.

Its not really freekicks we have a problem with... at least we score a few off them its all these corners i worry about. we must of had well over 100 last season and how many did we score. 1 i think coming from reuben hazell. we really need to sort our corners out.

personally i think hes an ace player, great signing for us also a bonus of getting him for free, if you look at his goal tally hell definately score 1 or 2 for us :P. im a little weary of his injury troubles along with alot of our fans but all i have in the back of my mind is look at... spit.... Chris Porter. he had all the injuries under the sun, mainly him being a soft arse really, but look what happened to him the final season he was with us more or less injury free and scoring for fun.

Yeah i would love for Daniel Jones to come back but i dont think well get him on a freebie wich i think is what well be going for this summer . He looked verry good last season but i just cant see us spending much money, Plus does Wolves see him as a good prospect?. I think a long term loan wich a buyout clause would be a good idea.
