    It's quite obvious to me ! Dowies current employer sky shortened his odds to evens today making him the favourite then later the same day they suspend all betting, therefore making all of the other betting company's to shorten their odds to ! Obviously the other company's can't suspend their betting because they don't know for definate but Sky Dowies employers do !

    Daft to me ! Furman is just the type of player you need when in a relegation battle at least he gets stuck in ! Can't be good for morale either to the rest of the team losing their captain, but if it means bringing a decent manager in and Mchangama (who was in decent form before injury) is back soon then so be it. Just hope it pays off

    Dan Gardener has already had a trial at Latics a few seasons back and guess what Latics turned him away sums us up ! Also had Craig Dawson on trial but turned him away to its daft

    Steve Cotterill or ID for me I think Cotterill would be good at steadying the ship and I think ID would bring a good future only two I can think of at the moment

    Now the bookies favourite for the job at 9/4 same odds as TP and in front of Phil Brown 7/2, Sammy Lee 5/1 and Dowie at 7/1 where has this popped up from as far as I know he's currently playing for Hibs in Scotland can imagine he's applied though

    For me some of these players don't want to get stuck in when it really matters Baxter being one of them, Simpson could of scored but instead he goes down far to easily throwing his arms in the air expecting a pen, to many went missing today Barnard, Simpson, Croft, Obita, Baxter all dident want to know and that has been the downfall in our league season this year "players only showing up when they feel like it" wonder if Simpson will start playing well again when his contract is about to expire ?

    Daft rumour ! No way would you let your club captin leave on loan when your in the middle of a relegation battle ! Furman might not have played to his full potential this season shown glimpses, but he is still a very valuable player to us hopefully TP or whoever comes in can get him back to his best !

    The guy has an unbeliveable scoring record 93 goals in 112 league appearances and that's playing in a poor team imagine with better service !

    Who remembers this guy ? Seems to have dissapeard off the radar there was interest in the summer with ourselves and Donny but nothing happened. Scored 43 goals last season went on trial at Gillingham but returned to Alty and signed another 2 year deal and the goals have continued this year 26 in 25 apps don't know how he's not been snapped up ?

    What ever happened to Damien Reeves ? Know Latics where linked with him once, was a non league goal machine for Alty few clubs were interested

    Not saying Montano is :censored:, he could probaly be a decent player with the right coaching I just think Obita is far better ability wise, that's why Obitas a PL player and Montanos with us !

    There was an Everton fan sat right behind me in the main stand heard him say "come on Victor" (Anichebie) in Scousers accent, fair play to him though he dident celebrate the goals like the group of scum liverpool fans did in the main stand when Suarez scored

    If Dickov doesent get another management job or end up on the punditry pile like Dowie I'd definately have him back here as a coach or scout ! Probaly end up back at city though they will always have some sort of job going for club legends like Paul

    What a great article ! So much respect for Jose he has a great attitude and is setting an example to others, he just wants to play football and give it his all, to much talent is wasted in the PL by the bigger clubs putting players like Jose in their reserves ! He deserves to score the winner on Saturday just for the sacrifice he made

    We will have to wait and see I've seen Obita have 1 very good game out of 2 and I've seen Montano have 3 or 4 ok maybe one good game (Crewe) out of 20 odd appearances. Obita looks much more quicker and more dangerous, Montano has looked lazy and clumsy in most games I've seen

    Fair play to him for doing that but Id rather see him show his enthusiasm and love for the club on the pitch rather than off it and I'm still waiting for that to happen !

    Wasent aware of the game in training ! From what I've seen of Montano he is not up to it Obita looked like a miles better option on the left on Saturday ! I think Montano thinks he is some sort of Prima-dona and clearly has a poor attitude !
