The worrying things is, there's a section of young men (18 -30) amongst our football crowds who blatantly demonstrate a total disregard for other people. Yesterday illustrated the point in question. Despite many attempts by stewards and police to control the Oldham fans in the paddock (?) area, they failed to do so. By control, I mean to get them to sit down, stop gesticulating threats of violence to our crowd and to generally behave themselves. What a load of rubbish, yeah there was a lot of hangers on in that section of the paddock with it being a cup game but take a look at the Chaddy End, two blocks stood up all game not one steward tells them to sit. In the paddock it's a complete different story, a season ticket holder like myself getting a camera shoved in the face by the OB for not sitting down when other areas of the ground do not get asked to sit. It's double standards and has been going on for 1 1/2 seasons, it's pathetic stewarding & I will be taking it higher up within the club. They talk about generating an atmosphere, you can't even stand when your team is attacking let alone sing for fear of the yes men getting you ejected. Ridiculous!

He is learning like Pukka says. It's just awful at BP that's the bottom line.

The guy still loves Oldham thats obvious, but he comes here as a manger of a team who pay him to win games & be sucessful. Do you think he really gives a what his players do as long as the results come in. Realism!

What a load of rubbish about a Ritchie side giving it the big un!! The fact Shuker & Beckett are two players who have been abused by use before might have something to do with it.

Dunno where it came from the sad fact is it is true. Remember though you bleed blue & therefore always will even if that means taking over 10 years of nothing in this awful division with players shunning us left right & centre. it, we are all Oldham at the end of the day & if it means another Tuesday night in Gillingham or nigh on 1000 miles of travel in 4 days for zero goals then so be it. Don't let SKY ruin your dreams of Latics, they won't beat me.

I'm not having there was 3 defenders with Hughes because there certainly were not (if it's the chance shooting towards the RRE where predictable, the undoubtably talented yet forever frustrating Davies failed to square the ball.) His tail seems to always be between his legs that lad, maybe a few reserve games if & when the big lad Leon comes back into town. Like many have said though he has his potential a rough diamond who likes to clear the bar too often.

The lookers needs to be knocked down and sharpish & everyone thrown in the RRE, that way a bit of noise can be generated and banter. I seriously can't see a league win at home until it happens.
