    Groves and Holden, both of em loved taking the piss. Both great off field as well, my dad took me to Groves and Les Chapmans garage in Oldham, I'd be about 7 they talked to me for ages. Lucky enough to be in the sponsor's box at latics, when Holden came in and ordered himself two pints of bitter, the match had finished about 5 minutes before! his hair was still pissed wet through, I asked him if there was a players bar and he said you had to pay for drinks in there!     Agree with all you say rudemedic, don't want him to go, would benefit from a good pre season as well. Like a said seems a nice lad who needs coaching properly.And I give you that he was improving.

    Anyone seeing Browns answers on late kick off will realise why there is a satellite delay when the ball arrives at his feet. Wish him all the best seems a nice lad, but we need better.

    This is the most depressing thread ever, basically more of the same as this season!! 40+ years and I'm getting tired, the board don't deserve my support or upfront money, think I'll just see how it goes, and get to more away games, but think my season ticket days are over.

    The main problem we have is that whenever we get extra income in, cup run, players sold,eventual return on Micah Richards etc, the spectre that is Simon Blitz will appear with his hand out(and I can't blame him) for the money owed to him. Until his bill is paid, its going to be more of the same,

    Must find a replacement for Conor Brown and quick, never seen a player who just can't wait to get rid so fast, even if one of ours is surrounded, they are getting the ball sharpish, Then he'll hide behind an opposition player so they can't get it back to him. Puts the centre backs under pressure as they don't have an outlet, giving them no option but to hoof it.
