  1. What a cock. I don't think they should face scrutiny. They've done you and everyone else a favour.

You can't a it on your arse doing nothing then criticise those who are trying to help for whatever reason.

They've already stated they haven't finished and will meet again.

If you've got an issue why don't you go to the next one as well.

Probably one of those who didn't vote in referendum then complained it was a leave vote you

Do yourself a favour - turn your phone off for half an hour and go for a walk. It's an internet forum - people disagree from time to time. No need to insult people behind a keyboard.

  2. Because you realised you're chatting :censored:?

Some areas at every ground will always be a bit more expensive. You choose to sit there.

You have the option of buying early and cheaper, you choose not to.

You could have set yourself a reminder on your phone or just remembered like everyone else when the offer finished. You chose not to

Wow. You really don't know when to give it a rest, do you?

Seeing as you were so desperate for me to find out, Wimbledon, Bolton, Gillingham and Rochdale all have cheaper match day - not advanced - tickets.

Bristol Rovers, Bury and Scunthorpe all charge £18 on the gate.

So, no. I'm not 'chatting :censored:'. And any future changes to ticket prices, I will make sure I set as a reminder in my phone. Happy now?

  3. It's a sensible point. Everyone had the opportunity.

A fan questioned the accountability of Corney wriggling out of a filmed meeting with fans armed with questions by the fans and got a - stop being so negative and contribute if you want your say - response.

I am grateful to all that attended the meeting and the notes were a decent read. But our self-elected representatives must be willing to face scrutiny if things don't quite go to plan. If they're not up for the scrutiny, then I think they need to reconsider whether they're up for the next meeting, if it ever happens.

  4. When the club announced the cut price tickets, they also announced it was cut price up until the Gillingham game. Can't really blame the club for fans not taking notice of the information they have already provided.

A trial implies it may have continued if successful. We can only presume, therefore, that the trial was unsuccessful.

Strange, then, that the club would advertise themselves as the cheapest matchday ticket in the league on Tuesday night.

Incidentally, on the subject of poor communication, this is what Moisley had to say when the trial was launched back in November:

'I don't necessarily think our communication with fans has been brilliant in the past and it's something we are keen to rectify.'

I think this is another example, Mark.

  5.

I agree with this. The content is more important than the format.

At the same time it's very convenient that there'll be no incontrovertible record of the words actually said.

Recent meetings at the club do seem to have tendency to pan out this way, don't they? "Oh, sorry, you missed the bit about finances, cock-up on the agenda." "Oh, sorry, looks like we can't record or stream today."

Agreed. And a meeting with Simon Corney also - somehow - became a meeting with Simon Corney & friends. What happened to the - bring it on; come and challenge me and we'll even film it and show it to the world taunt?
  6. By no means a classic, but a very enjoyable game. Shezerection round 3, one of them weird goal things, a clean sheet, and three points at home to a half decent side.

The usuals played well, but I was especially impressed with Erwin - for a change. His zigzag run was nearly our goal of the season. Shame about the composure.

I was quite surprised when he was subbed off earlyish into the second half. If you believe what you read, though, he's going back to Leeds to be loaned out to a club in Scotland, unless Shez has seen enough today to want him to stay.

The only negative about today was my failed diving header in the North Stand - I've got a few bruises on my legs this morning.
