What a cock. I don't think they should face scrutiny. They've done you and everyone else a favour.
You can't a it on your arse doing nothing then criticise those who are trying to help for whatever reason.
They've already stated they haven't finished and will meet again.
If you've got an issue why don't you go to the next one as well.
Probably one of those who didn't vote in referendum then complained it was a leave vote you
Do yourself a favour - turn your phone off for half an hour and go for a walk. It's an internet forum - people disagree from time to time. No need to insult people behind a keyboard.
-
Because you realised you're chatting :censored:?
Some areas at every ground will always be a bit more expensive. You choose to sit there.
You have the option of buying early and cheaper, you choose not to.
You could have set yourself a reminder on your phone or just remembered like everyone else when the offer finished. You chose not to
Wow. You really don't know when to give it a rest, do you?
Seeing as you were so desperate for me to find out, Wimbledon, Bolton, Gillingham and Rochdale all have cheaper match day - not advanced - tickets.
Bristol Rovers, Bury and Scunthorpe all charge £18 on the gate.
So, no. I'm not 'chatting :censored:'. And any future changes to ticket prices, I will make sure I set as a reminder in my phone. Happy now?
-
What's that got to do with anything? You can get one for 18 quid in advance. If no clubs are cheaper then they're right in saying cheapest in league 1.
I give up.
-
It's a sensible point. Everyone had the opportunity.
A fan questioned the accountability of Corney wriggling out of a filmed meeting with fans armed with questions by the fans and got a - stop being so negative and contribute if you want your say - response.
I am grateful to all that attended the meeting and the notes were a decent read. But our self-elected representatives must be willing to face scrutiny if things don't quite go to plan. If they're not up for the scrutiny, then I think they need to reconsider whether they're up for the next meeting, if it ever happens.
-
Is it false? Like I said you can get an adult ticket for 18 quid. Where is cheaper?
I don't know, matey, and I'm not going to waste my Saturday morning finding out. What I do know, though, is that where I sit, £24 pay on the day is most certainly not the cheapest ticket in the league.
-
We demanding 2 statements on things from the club now?
I'm not demanding anything. A polite reminder would have been sufficient, especially following the false advertisement on Tuesday night.
-
Pop along to the next meeting and then you won't need it to be on video and as an added bonus you will be able to contribute positively to the process
This sounds like something The Trust, or even Corney, would come out with.

A trial implies it may have continued if successful. We can only presume, therefore, that the trial was unsuccessful. When the club announced the cut price tickets, they also announced it was cut price up until the Gillingham game. Can't really blame the club for fans not taking notice of the information they have already provided.
Strange, then, that the club would advertise themselves as the cheapest matchday ticket in the league on Tuesday night.
Incidentally, on the subject of poor communication, this is what Moisley had to say when the trial was launched back in November:
'I don't necessarily think our communication with fans has been brilliant in the past and it's something we are keen to rectify.'
I think this is another example, Mark.

Negativity from fans at games a factor in some players leaving?
And rightly so.
-
Who the :censored: have the club spunked £100k on?
Spunked some on Fane.
-
I don't disagree.
Attendances stayed the same though so they probably assume those people will continue to attend.
Petty, I know, for the sake of a fiver, but I'm considering not buying a ticket out of principal.
Which will probably backfire come Saturday 2pm when I drive to BP and pay £24 on the gate.
-
Mods. Ban him...
Seconded.
-
It's not something you would want to announce.
Keep quiet and hope nobody notices? I take it you don't work in customer services, then?
The club would gain a lot more respect from pay on the day supporters with a brief reminder that the promotion had ended.
-
Nobody ever made a big deal about a price rise.
Not asking for a big deal - a polite reminder would've been sufficient.
If they can go out of their way to tell us that the Chinese businessmen aren't Manchester United fans, they can tell us about the prices going back up.
-
Did I miss the announcement from the club or is it just another example of first class communication?
-
Have match day prices gone back to normal? Looking at buying a ticket for tomorrow's game and the website is asking for £20 for an advanced ticket.
-
Can we order a No 8,9,10 & 11 please.
Very good.
-
Agreed. And a meeting with Simon Corney also - somehow - became a meeting with Simon Corney & friends. What happened to the - bring it on; come and challenge me and we'll even film it and show it to the world taunt?I agree with this. The content is more important than the format.
At the same time it's very convenient that there'll be no incontrovertible record of the words actually said.
Recent meetings at the club do seem to have tendency to pan out this way, don't they? "Oh, sorry, you missed the bit about finances, cock-up on the agenda." "Oh, sorry, looks like we can't record or stream today."
-
It wasn't recorded? Wasn't that the whole point of it??
-
Don't forget the away end was empty and they were also turning home fans away 15 minutes before kick off.7,224
Wow, that is pretty terrible that we can't fill the ground when it's free
-
Even we won't sell our captain and one of our best players in a relegation battle.
Wasn't Philliskirk considered our best player last season when we sold him to Blackpool for peanuts?
-
Was Osei on the pitch long enough to say that he 'struggled'?

By no means a classic, but a very enjoyable game. Shezerection round 3, one of them weird goal things, a clean sheet, and three points at home to a half decent side.
The usuals played well, but I was especially impressed with Erwin - for a change. His zigzag run was nearly our goal of the season. Shame about the composure.
I was quite surprised when he was subbed off earlyish into the second half. If you believe what you read, though, he's going back to Leeds to be loaned out to a club in Scotland, unless Shez has seen enough today to want him to stay.
The only negative about today was my failed diving header in the North Stand - I've got a few bruises on my legs this morning.
-
Anthony Gerrard set to re-sign once that happens. #oafc
Did he actually say that?
It's in the press conference thread. Gerrard and Clarke at centre half? Now that's a proper third division pairing if we ever did see one.

I was told his family were at the game today.
