Rushing? The Trust was formed nearly 20 years ago. The Lottery has been going 9 months, lots of people have had time to comment if things were very wayward. Even the new PTB Directors have been in place 6 months, and they accused the previous incumbents of being slow. There is no absolute fundamental change, its tweaking. Why would anyone not want as much money as possible?

Given the state we are in, I don't think it's going to make a huge difference. There are a couple or 3 parties that benefit from further delay.

Who does it benefit to delay things further? At the very least that could be done in parrallel.

The danger with being very specific is that another unforseen event/s could materialise, and having to go back to members could delay things. But being clear should not be a problem.

I have held back from speaking out in fear of damaging the Lottery and 1895 funding. But we are getting to the stage where not speaking out is damaging. I will try again, more forcefully. I care deeply about the Contingency Fund and given up a lot of personal time for it. I'm getting to the stage where the frustration is outweighing the benefit.

Sue Bowskill, Office Manager has been take off the website. But that could be part of the Seccretary shake up I guess.

It's not too bad, but does have it's idiosyncracies. I've been on it for quite a few years, so not 100% recall starting from scratch. The app is actually a bit easier to use than the web. Bascially pick a team. ALthough you'll have to start on Week 2 it won't be that much of a hindrance. Have a read through this, join pick your team, and then come back and ask any questions.
