I arrived at 7 with my brother. served at about 9:30. Must have been stood next to S_W and Ackey then, no idea who any of you were though so didnt say owt.

Arrgghhh just played 20 overs and scored 173 within 10 overs... Didnt realise the scores are only matched on 10 overs

Proper legend for me, when United fans bang on about their favorite team and Irwin gets a mention I make sure they remember where he came from. Met him a couple of times when I was a kid but dont really recall any conversations with him. Even though he signed for Manchester United which is almost inexcuseable in itself, as pointed out above he was most definately a player who deserved a brilliant career.

My concern is we have done 7 or 8 games unbeaten now (albeit with only 2 wins) so that means in true latics fashion we are due a defeat very soon :eek:

Fans mainly, their pathetic excuse that they support them because their Dad or Grandad did. Its like the whole of Britian stems from a United fan GRRR. Then its their superior knowledge about football that they would have you believe but ask them anything that doesnt involve the premiership and they look confused. The the team itself, how they always seem to get just enough injury time til they score. The arrogance of the whole club etc. Too many reasons really, I could be here all day lol

Im with Stipey on this, the Arsenal goal is one memory I always think of when I think of Latics in general, not just Ritchie. My other memory is after that very game me and Dad made it into the players lounge for the rest of the evening. Got to have a 5 minute chat with him about the game but I dont really recall what was said. He even shared a drink with my Dad. Top bloke.
