Did Andy give the answer to the player with the nickname, "The Judge"? If so I missed it, can anyone help me out?
Haven't listened, but Anthony Grant?

The sobering thought for me is that as bad as we were, I cannot remember a game where we have been anywhere near as good and as dominant as Fylde were on Tuesday night!
They didn’t just beat us they absolutely murdered us and were so much better than us all over the pitch!
If we really have what has been described as a very decent squad I really don’t know how that could possibly happen.
Yep, not only that, but after about 20 mins they took their foot off the gas, and setup a bit more defensively awaiting our response, which never came. After that (and the sending off), it was a breeze for them.

His body language is appalling, that must affect at least some of his teammates.
Is it? Some see disinterest, I see frustration. Which I totally get.

Provide Norwood with shite service and get little in return.
Provide Fondop with shite service, still get little in return. Probably more red cards from frustration. Ok he may score a goal or two through moments of inspiration.
However, provide them both with decent service and Norwood probably scores three times what Mike does.

My three away games this season so far: 0-4, 0-3, 0-3.
Wouldn't bother buying a ticket for Woking if you were considering it...

Yeah, same- and it’s not a reaction to one game. I just think Unsy going, the unbeaten run, Mellon’s obvious credibility and when you look at the table I really feel that should be the target now, because it’s one home game and then Wembley. An away trip to some shithole in the playoffs could be tasty though.

Back to the footy... I`m going to stick my neck out a little here and say that IF we get a couple of decent signings (and steer clear of injuries to key players), I think we could go the rest of the season unbeaten. Who knows how that might end? We've not lost since DU's departure (speaks volumes) - invest now and we could reap huge dividends.
3-0 home win on Tuesday then!

When I started watching in the late 60's, Dale was definitely our main derby.
We were in the same divison for pretty much every season from 46/47 to 62/63. Since then, only 10 seasons (11 incl. this one) in the 60 years since.

Does anyone know why Mellon left Dundee United after just one year at the helm in 2021? A ninth place finish in their first season back in the SPL doesn't seem too bad.

Imagine going back to Tranmere with Mellon and stuffing them at their place. .
We'll pass them on our way up

On a similar note I met and spent some time with two Tory MPs today. I managed to be very polite and well behaved - I'm proud of myself.

Too true. For a posh town it makes Seel Park look good.
I also agree about that nightmare Tuesday night match when we were sat in a relict of a stand.

Gardner is 33, I have no idea how long is left on his contract but I hope it doesn’t go beyond June.

12 points in 6 games is significantly better than 7 points in 9 games. It's more than double the points per game. 2 v 0.7777777...
Performances don't matter points do.
Agreed, but you can't ignore the quality of the opposition.

Not sure why you'd give the job to the Head of Recruitment, given the pig's ear we've made of recruitment this season.

Home office figures show during 2022/23 season only 15 oldham fans were arrested out of a total 2264 football fans.
Again only 8 was for violent disorder. In the grand scheme of things that suggest the AWAYDAYZBOYZ ain't as bad as some would have us believe.
Record numbers, apparently

And next weekend is really likely to be the first time in our history (I'm guessing) that Oldham Athletic will not make it into the First Round draw of the FA Cup..Happy fucking days

This is a good post from Twitter that is probably correct -
Unbalanced squad, unbalanced bench, players not fit, coached badly for well over a year.
This is why DU should have been sacked ages ago. On the board this for not sacking sooner and appointing a manager soonerBut @lookersstandandy told me the board only made good decisions
