Not another Dickenson and Ward I hope who we've hardly seen.
Dickenson has played 15 times for us this season - 10 times playing the 90 minutes...

Didn't Charlton do the same to Gillingham? Levels.

Stones looked a player the minute I saw him
That's not what you were saying in the Solihull thread. We were "absolutely gash" and...
QuoteThat first half was the worst I’ve seen us under Mellon, it was Unsworthesque. (Yes, it was that bad) We sat deep, bypassed the midfield, and had zero urgency or tempo. Everyone looked a yard of the pace. I sat there and thought - we are million miles away from challenging this season.

youre too quick to judge. probably why you spend your days haunting us with your new found pessimism. coupled with refusal to keep a track on how often you say the same three things rehashed in different guises!
anyway lets play some random kid in the team, maybe even out of his bormal position. that should do it

I can't believe James Norwood - a Championship striker at the time - was convinced to come and play for us by David Unsworth and David Unsworth alone..

Total myth, with all respect.
It's another one for the BP bingo card. He trots it out every time we lose at home.

Answered this more than once but I would have gone either the Academy route or a Parkinson/Williamson if we could have got them.
Williamson who went to a team battling at the top in the division above? Why would he have been interested?

No, I wasn’t. My 3 aren’t linked either, so not sure what happened there.
I didn't have to put mine in either. Wasn't logged in, but was near to 10am on the dot, so maybe they forgot to flip the ST-only switch?

So if we win, will that be 5 in a row (in the league)? When was the last time we did that?

No need to be sorry when the examples you have given are were the whole team was dreadful-bit hard to shine when the other 10 are doing nowt.
You said "I bet you would struggle to find a less than 6/10 performance from Sheron over his career here" - didn't realise we were only counting games where we played well.

Didn't Harkins go back to Scottish football after us? Credit to Johnson he had an eye for a player.
We loaned him from St Mirren. He played for about 10 other clubs up there after going back.

Did he play much after getting sent off on his debut?
Played a fair amount last season - 27 games. Not so this, been on the bench once, but not featured at all.

You are right-it is a bit harsh. I bet you would struggle to find a less than 6/10 performance from Sheron over his career here. Players have been brought in to replace the likes of McGahey not Sheron.
He played in the 3-0 defeat at Fylde when no player rated more than 4/10. And in the opening day defeat at Southend - 3/10 at best. Sorry.

Wonder what has happened at Woking. Have been a fixture in and around the play offs for years but plummeting downwards apparently
Asked a Woking fan I know:
Firstly, a fixture in and around the playoffs is very generous! Last year was our first top 10 finish for seven years which also included a relegation!
But there's no hiding how disappointing this season has been. We ran out of steam in the last third of last season but it seemed like those issues were addressed in the summer. We've had horrendous injuries, but that's partly explained by the fact we deliberately seemed to recruit injury prone players who other teams didn't want to take a risk on. But there's no real explanation for how or why things fell apart so quickly. There's a new manager in and I'd hope we've got enough about us not to go down. But there's not a lot of optimism around the club atm.

Roy is still shit though.

I'm a yes to Kanu. If we're going 4-3-3 in the future then you need pace and width from at least one of that front three, ideally two. Dallas-Nors-Kanu would be a nightmare for most NL defences.

EeeByGum. Good luck with the trip up tonight. Which part of Shropshire are you?. I live in Leintwardine which is just over the border in Herefordshire, but 6 miles from Ludlow. I would get to more home games if I could find someone to share the driving. Let me know.
