makes me laugh how people make things up. i speak to smalley on a regular basis and hes told me he wouldnt go out on loan, he feels hes good enough to establish himself as an oldham regular so hes happy to be on the bench coming on and proving himself because he knows if he comes on and scores or sets a goal up or has a blinder hel b in the startin 11 the next game. obviously hes not too happy about not playin regularly but he knows hes only young and he has to prove himself

every1 is sayin were 6pts of playoffs, were 10 off 4th from bottom remember that aswell. if we dont win games at home we cant rely on away wins. we have to start winnin at home and that means creatin more chances. we seem to be relyin on hughes to score now just like earlier on in the season it was davies. weve got a good team they just need to start playin more consitantly at home. people say its hard to play because of all the moaners in the crowd and there are alot and it is anoyin when young lads who are tryin to get there career started make a mistake and get booed of the pitch and moaned at everytime they get the ball, but they have to learn to ignore it. the only way is up? or is it?

1st of all davies was upfront not on the wing, allott was supposed to be our winger. 2ndly i thought eardley was good today, he didnt do anythin wrong at all so why people have to criticise somebody whose a defender when we drew 0-0 i dont no. they were to strong for us today simple as, they are all massive. i think we would have been better with 2 wingers today, maybe droppin gary mac and bringin smalley in on the right wing, hes somebody that will run at defenders all day long and it would have opened the game up alot, however because we didnt have a proper right winger it forced us to just lump the ball up the pitch, also can i just say taylor is no longer any use whatsoever on the left wing!! teams no about him now and no that hes a right footer on the left wing so they no how to deal with him. also im goin to criticise shez, ok shez you made a sub but why kalala? he wont help the game change hes just a defensive midfielder. it would have made sence to take gray mac off and bring smalley on then we no we would be goin for the win, when he brought him on it just made us look like we was playin for the draw, and hes useless. dont usually criticise shez but i am doin today. hope its better on sat, we need to start winning games at home aswell as away its pathetic at home games at the moment.

well am 18 and been watchin the latics seriously since 1999 so the best player ive watched is sheridan he was just a class player and was a great signin for us. his touch was quality and knew what to do when he was on the ball. a great football brain.

just spoke to smalley on the phone hes really down as expected he was really disapointed with his performance, shez as told him to keep his chin up and get ready for the next game. also said dont listen to the fans.

taylor was poor as was kilkenny so why not call them? instead oldham fans pick out 1 player once again

smalley is 19 year old and still learning the game properly and people expect too much from him. today he was being critisised every time he got a touch, and yeah i admit it wasnt his day today, however every time he got the ball he had eddi and the left back on him not giving him any time what so ever. also i thought it was awful to see oldham fans cheering him off when he got subbed it was pathetic and shows us up. i speak to dean all the time and ive just told him to ignore what the crowd say and just concentrate on his game. give the lad a chance. when he gets time on the ball he will show you what hes about. he loves takin players on and gettin the ball in the box. i no what you mean about the sitters though and that is gettin to the lad aswell. he is a very optomistic player wants to do well for the club stick by the lad

i didnt go yesterday so i cant comment on how crossley played yesterday however, i have been to alot of games this season and my opinion on crossley is that hes too old and needs to retire.

But with Davies, Hughes, Wolfy & Smalley - I fail to see the need for a 5th striker... so do u think that them lads can score goals for us? its becoming abit like last season with porter, if davies doesnt score we dont score. we cant rely on 1 person scorin all the goals for us because it will ruin his game, shez is right we need another striker, wolfy and smalley are only young lads and in my opinion arent ready to start for us yet, smalley was only a youth player last season so its a massive step up for the lad and it might put alot of pressure on the lad. i think hes better on the wing anyway. every time we mension loan players the 1st 2 player that pop up are andrews and jevons. i dont think bristol want jevons to go orelse they would have let him go to crewe, and as for andrews why the hell would he want to come back here? everytime he plays against us he gets bad reception by alot of the crowd which is rediculas.

yes but he can play for a drifferent club every season im sure he has previously played for leeds, if im wrong then am sorry. this should be our team 1 hallworth 2 irwin 3 barrett 4 r holden 5 ritchie 6 bunn 7 eyres 8 shez 9 warhurst oldham in the maters would be quality. if leicester can win it with that team then surely we could get a better team than they got

blame the players! shez can only do so much and then its down to the players. i no it wont be long until some people call for sheridans head because thats what oldham fans are like and i think its stupid. sheridan is a legand at oldham and deserves more of a chance in management with us than other managers. oldham fans are too ambitious. there are alot of good teams in this league this season and it will be alot tougher than last season. i no it is frustrating watching games like that and i was very frustrated myself but if you are going to call somebody call the players not sheridan. its about time we had a manager here for long than 1-2 seasons we need stability and then push forward and shez will bring us that if he gets the chance. last season we started poor and look where we finished and this season could be the same we just need another win to get the players confidence back. our defence are too poor for my likin although the new lad was good. we dont spend enough to get success like other teams do. i no its nice to be ambitious but were too ambitious and its anoyin. sheridan is doing all he can do to be a good manager and bring success.

well i think if we could get somebody who could play the drum proper it would be ok to keep it. if you look at blackpool there drummer is quality and sets off a great atmosphere our dummer just bangs the same note all the time.

best keeper in the league? dont think so pal. pogs makes too many mistakes to be the best keeper in the league, however on his day he is amazin but he doesnt no how to command his area, id say the best penalty saver in the league tho. the defence are shockin and it needs to change, we all no how gregan can play and it does my headin when he plays the way he has done recently and because hes makin stupid decisions its makin the other defenders look bad and play bad. sheridan is a fantastic manager and if people call for his head theyre stupid, its times like this i feel bad for bein an oldham fan its stupid, sheridan should and hopefully will be with us for many years. lets face facts were a small club with no ambition and the fans are too ambitious. if u look at our squad its too small and not good enough although on our day we could be quality once again injuries and stupid mistakes will ruin our season. last season it took a few games to get goin and it will be the same again this season, the only thing is we won the 1st game and our stupid ambitious fans started sayin we will go up. i think the 1st home game was 7,000 then we go to carlisle and lose go back for another home game and its dropped to 5600 or maybe abit more, and then people wonder why nobody wants to invest good money in us. ffs get behind the team and gaffer they need us when theyre losin more than when were winnin.
