Spoke to him today, nice person to have a 5 min chat with. I basically talked about saturday and he even admitted which i thought was quite honest, 'we just played :censored:' and after the 3rd we had enough and gave up. he also said that dickov has no intention of going anywhere and is trying to keep a core within the squad. Also morais said that the club arent issuing contracts to anyone at the moment and are talking to kieran lee thats it. He admits he hasnt had the best of season and is trying his hardest to up his game. Overall, top guy, knows his game. What are your opinions of him and would you like him here 2012/2013?

A season or two or 3 with each other as a group of 8 with 2-3 new faces in summer would allow the squad to adapt and learn how each other plays, strengths. It also keeps a sense of moral within the squad knowing that they have management confident in their capabilities thus giving them a guaranteed pro career. Dickov did have tripe to work with, one piece of tripe we never even got to see, bonus points to the one who guesses his name correctly. If we work with the likes of mellor, winchester and tarky and smith we could get them to league one level who can fight for a starting place and maintain a position to be. I also dont like the drifting of the players and the changes dickov makes e.g adeyemi playing right back, lee playing mid field, taylor on the midfield. Keep a squad who can adapt to each others methods, become best mates if you will and who can have consistancy in playing each game. This was we can push up and guarantee a place in league one, with no threat of relegation.

Aside from being a small club, low budget, 3 stand and poor, there is a clear cut reason why we go nowhere. We do not put together a squad that can play constantly with each other. Cisak (2nd year) Lee (3rd year) Diamond (2nd Year) Mvoto (3rd Year) Invest in a new LB who can have a continuous career at Latics as LB Taylor (6th year) Furman (4th Year) Weslowski (2nd Year) Morais (3rd Year) Simpson (2nd Year) Smith (2nd Year) There is now a clear structure within the squad where they have had more than one year at latics and are used to playing each other. Add 2-3 more new faces but keep a structure and togetherness within the squad That squad could easily gain a play off/ promotion push Opinions Please!

With us not playing for a week today evening against chesterfield in the JPT, what are you predictions and starting XI of choice? Heres my choice, Cisak Lee Diamond Mvoto Black Morais Weslowski Furman Taylor Kuqi Simpson Bouzanis, Scupazzi, Tarkowski, Smith, Adeyemi, Parker, Reid (making up 7 if possible) Thats a good strong line up and bench. Depending on how we are playing suggests what subsitutions are made. If were drawing perhaps switch to a 4-3-3 with it being Scupazzi,Smith, Simpson making the front 3 and morais making way. If we are in a winning position, keep the 4-4-2 formation and swap morais with adeyemi and morais with Kuqi. Prediction 2-0 win with a 3-2 agg! Opinions!!

Against exeter his starting 11 was: Reina Flanagan Robinson Skrtel Wilson Henderson Spearing Adam Meireles Rodriguez Suarez I think it would be quite similar, with Suarez likely serving an 8 match ban, i think that he will start. I would like to see shelvey start in midfield, looked great for Blackpool. In terms of their defence, I think we could cause them problems, with Kuqi, Simpson (if a deal is done), Smith. Reina would be difficult to get past, so would like to see doni in net (pressure on him to impress daglish). Not been to many home games this season due to work, but those i have we have played very well and either caught a win or been unlucky to Preseason friendly at Home to Blackpool - Won 2-1 (I was there) Sheff utd - lost 2 nil but we were ok ( i was there) Rochdale - Won 2 nil ( i was there) Huddersfield - drew 1-1 (still i went) MK Dons - Won 2-1 (refused to watch it on a comfy sofa and went) Wycombe - won 2-0 (another i went) Crewe - won 3-1 (another..)
