Do we ever score a goal that comes from a sustained period of passing ?
If we score from open play it’s usually because Kitching has crossed the ball after a few passes.
Fair enough, but the fact is we are going into the next game with Nathan Sheron as top scorer.
We are relying on Garner / Dallas to come good in this period. Or, we bring Reid back, but he will need time to get match fit.
Norwood is our top scorer on 16 goals. I think it’s then Dickinson and Reid on 5 each, both of which don’t make the squad.
So we are going into a run of fixtures with Nathon Sheron as our top scorer on 4.
I understand your post, but arnt you highlighting a shit transfer window ?
We have 16 games to get into the play offs. We can’t afford 10 games of letting the team gel and get match fit.
More so, the team we had prior to the window was showing top 3 form over 20 games…
We needed a right back and a couple of centre mids to come in and make a difference from the off.
When’s the last time we had a midfielder who can take the ball on the half turn and pick up pockets of space behind the striker ?
Conlon, Sheron and Lundstram just stand there. Static and predictable.
I just can’t get my head around the Garner signing. Next year we are going to have a 34 year old Norwood and a 36 year old Garner leading the line ?
Baffling. We had more than enough with Norwood, Dallas, Fondop, Reid.
Saying that, Dallas looked like he couldn’t move yesterday. I slated Hammond for his sub appearances so I will slate him. Looked and absolute raffle winner and couldn’t touch the ball.
Was shafted by playing in the middle mind.
